controls are horrible on a keyboard. i'm pretty sure you have to play with a controller. i didn't know you have to "rank up" to even wear the overly expensive outfits, but i'd never want to play enough of the game to get the lowest one (2 hours in, rank 9. lowest outfit is rank 20). the gameplay so far consists of 2 or 3 people that are 36-5 kd with special guns and extra health and boosts, vs 0-16 kd for the rest of the team who don't even have grenades to throw. maybe that's just how the game mode is that i was playing, but i can't see myself being able to get the weapons and items the "pro" players use. it's just not fun enough to grind through to get that stuff. i'll try it with a controller later, if it works, and see how it plays. maybe a controller will fix the awful flying too. where you move the mouse, there's a delay, and then it slooowly drifts in the direction you want to go and then overshoots and you gotta try and turn and wait for it to react again. it's so unresponsive... it's like sliding around on ice, while everything's flying past you... like ricky bobby trying to get back into racing again. at least there weren't any people cheating, and i found a server pretty quick. i dunno. it was only $10. it's not like i have to play it.

they didn't need to update it... they removed all the fun cheaty spots not a lot of players knew about, and now the voice wheel has a cooldown or something... they may also have made the bots more useless, not too sure.
