10/10 Best single player game I've played recently.

Never played any of the original RE games. Played RE2 remake and absolutely loved it! RE3 remake was kinda decent, I really didn't mind it. RE4 goes an entirely different direction and I wish I knew this before playing, It's not scary at all like RE2 which had me on the edge of my seat. If you want an action shooter I guess it's okay for that but based off the previous two remakes this one felt like a bit of a chore to finish.

Wow, what an amazing game. This is how you do combat! It feels more 'realistic' and oh so gritty and brutal. The story, visuals, combat, just buy it already!

CoH1 and CoH2 veteran here. CoH3 is instantly fun! I only play CoH games for the multiplayer so I don't even care about the single player campaigns as I never played them. Graphics are decent. Sound design is meh but overall the games first impressions are really good, I'm having a lot of fun with this game.

No where near as good as RE2 remake but still a decent game. If it's heavily discounted on steam sale then it's worth it.

Never played a Resident Evil game in my life so coming in fresh. Absolutely captivating, I have tension surging through my body, it's so immersive and intense the entire way through. I Played it only at night in the pitch dark with headphones, whew what a relief to have completed Leon but now I still have Claire and a few other game modes to take a look at and i'm dreading it! Overwhelmingly positive reviews for a reason, buy it when it's on sale like I did an you will have no regrets.

EDIT: Just finished Claire's run and Leon's story is so much better (so start with him). After that it unlocks an extra game mode called 4th Survivor which was actually wicked, Hunk is a total bad ass!

Heard they were making an Alan Wake sequel so I thought I'd try the first one. I was first introduced to Alan in another game called Control, which was a very good game so I thought i'd try this. Extremely cool story line but sadly the game play lets it down to the point I didn't want to play it anymore but i knew I had to finish the story as it was just that good. Playing as Alan is clunky, the moment you sprint he is out of breath within a few seconds, he aims where the torch light points which is extremely vague. Overall I'd say play it for the story if you must but game play is horrid.

Action-adventure puzzle game. Learning the button combination attacks is a must, not just a senseless slasher. I normally don't play these types of games ever, coming from an RTS and FPS background yet I bought it on steam sale and found the change of pace refreshing. The lightsaber combat, sounds, look and plays amazing. The story is ok with an amazing reveal at the end, has enough there to keep you engaged.

Worth a play through using a controller.
8/10 really enjoyed it and want to replay it at some point.

Played it as a kid, this remake is extremely nostalgic with a retro style that's beautiful and sounds amazing, everything is masterfully done.

Has so much potential, very fun, but it's been left in what feels like a clunky beta state with unfinished animations, sounds etc
