Just play it. Don't let yourself get spoiled.

It's an amazing, deeply touching game with fantastic artwork, music, and storytelling. Hands down one of the best games I've ever played. I went into it not knowing anything, thinking it was a cute RPG. It is way more than meets the eye, and I am forever grateful I decided to give this game a chance.
