It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ katars everywhere. There's like 2 relevant scythe players at this point. And like 1 relevant gauntlets player. But literally everyone and your damn mom is playing katars and sword, right now. But that's fine. Let's take these weapons that are already losing matchups in the current meta and make them worse. That'll shake things up for the next set of tournaments. Let's recap. Top 3 legends in the game right now: Asuri, Ragnir, Hattori. Katar nLight cooldown was the ONLY thing changed across all three of these legends. Literally. Means. Nothing. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Except for an entire subset of A or A+ tier legends just likely went down at least a half-tier. We did nothing but widen the gap between the best options and the 2nd best options. I'm done ranting. I'm gonna go body some people with Mordex now because I'm the best and I won't be stopped. ♥♥♥♥ your meta.

In what ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ universe does scythe need a bigger nerf than katars in this meta? I'm actually floored, right now. And FYI before one more person comes at me with "but nAir combos". No. ♥♥♥♥ your combos. Scythe has plenty of combos. We don't NEED more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ combos. We need kill options. Or at the very least, we need our kill options to stop getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥. This patch is just pushing me farther away from scythe. The Val pick might become permanent, at this rate. Especially since sword keeps coming out of every single one of these balance patches completely unscathed. Holy crap. Not a single change to this weapon. The katar change is not a real nerf. It's a band-aid to one of its many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics. Hell, most of the changes in this patch are right on the cusp of irrelevant, if not actually irrelevant.
