Not good :(

Easily one of the largest disappointments to take a decade to release, devs had a game that worked just fine and decided to go backwards instead.

Not even remotely worth $20, I have three hours and have 100% this game already. Don't pay more then $5 for this.

Kind of embarrassing tbh, big AoE fan so I won't refund but also... just so many issues, only 8 civs, only 4 campaigns, lack of modding support out of the box, (Only a complaint due to a "Coming Soon" under the mods tab) visuals are sharper but, overall looks worse than AoE III, some of the AI is a tad buggy, that's a very minor complaint though. I big issue I have is the abundance of bugs, I've been through all four of Relic's betas, and out of all of them I can genuinely say the only one where it felt like community feedback was taken was the easiest to listen to, AoE II. I'm mostly pissed that they decided to charge full price for an AoE III texture pack with some gameplay mods to AoE II's files. That's what it feels like, at least. I genuinely am not sure why this exists, AoE II is straight up better in every way. I have to admit the narration during the campaigns is... fun? Respectable? I'm not sure. I'm just really not sure why I supported them for these 7 years to turn this out.
