This is my story, plus some extra stuff.

He was born after Stable 67 was liberated. His dad was accepted into the Steel Rangers 15 years after he was born. He never saw his dad after that. His mom died shortly after his 19th birthday from a Raider group that attacked near the Steel Ranger base. He played a good amount of games and in turn figured how exactly they run on terminals and such, gaining a great deal of knowledge on computers and the like (how come he has such a great computer skill and even has the computer whiz perk). His dad was a terminal game designer and even worked on things like VRs. He was the one who taught him the illusion spells. He also listens to music a lot on his pip-buck and has several albums from well known pony musicians. A year or so after his mother died, with the training he got from the Steel Rangers, he left to try and scrounge the wastes for any good tech he could find or a place that's worth defending and that he could maybe settle down at. He even contemplated being a mercenary. That's when he found the bunker and met Charredearth
