If you're here just for the sake of knowing whether you should or shouldn't buy Terraria..

You should

But why you may ask yourself?
And to that I answer; Where do I even begin?
The game is incredibly fun and engaging both alone and with friends. To me nothing competes with getting that next set of armour or finding a cool item in a chest. Equally finding say a Nymph, one of the games rarest creatures, makes me as excited today, ~300 hours into the game, as it would've done when I first heard of the creature. I can spend hours upon hours just mining or exploring the world, dying countless times in the process, without getting bored. And that is me, a person who hates grinding in games with my entire heart.

Terraria just doesn't get boring

Even if you've done almost everything on one character, you can always start anew, on say hardcore, meaning you only get one life. Something which is incredibly hard, as you very easily die in Terraria.
Another thing I truly love about Terraria is the soundtrack. I usually play games with spotify on, playing my favourite playlist. But Terraria is one of those games that makes me pause the music, and just enjoy the ambient soundtrack, which switches from biome to biome (Mushroom biome soundtrack best).

Pros:

- Insane amount of content
- Great replayability
- Very immersive with music
- Stunning soundtrack
- Very fitting graphics
- Amazing with friends
- You get hats for killing some NPCs

Cons:

- Can get somewhat stale in the early game
- Fishing is a bit op
- Duke Fishron does not like dropping me his wings
- DUNE SPLICERS

All in all Terraria is definitely one of my all time favourite games. It has brilliant music, lovely graphics, a sense of humour and is great casual, or tryharding, fun.

10/10
