I had high hopes for this game when it was announced and while it is still in early access, I can conclusively say it will be an outstanding, even landmark 4x game when released. Even in its early access state, the game is tirelessly polished and pruned by the devs, whom are among the most ethical and effective in the gaming community. Min-maxing your systems and designing your ships and fleet compositions is engaging and fun, and you apply this work on the battlefield in beautiful set-piece battles, which are currently having even MORE depth added to them.

If you dont want to support the development process, buy the game on release. Its definitely going to be worth every penny, as is true of every title Amplitude has put out so far.

Takes the annoying ass farming/laning/pushing ♥♥♥♥ out of mobas and distills in into super fun teamfights galore.
Just imagine if this game had items you could buy each round in adittion to the already existing battlerite system, which is the games namesake.
10/10, would be satisfied paying money to get ♥♥♥♥.

After binge gaming about 2 hours into this game, and dying 8 times, I can safely say this is one of the best survival games I've played.

When you play DayZ do you ever wish you could not get killed by hackers or sniping idiots?
Have you ever wished the game was slightly more story driven?
Have you ever yearned for player interaction that isnt KOS 24/7?
Do you want to make your own story without it being ruined by some dumbass player?

Baisically turn based DayZ Standalone, but better. And with AI. Also a story.
I cannot stress enough that you not knowing anything about the game makes it all the more fun, so I'm not delving deep into gameplay. All I can say is, buy this game, it is worth every penny.

Pay to win at its finest. Good when you first start, then spirals intro madness and plasma spam. Not even worth playing more than an hour.

DO NOT ASSUME I AM BASHING THE GAME, I FRANKLY LOVED THIS GAME UNTIL IT GOT BORING.

War Thunder is a good game. Great Graphics, Responsive controls, easy to learn, hard to master. But i simply cant reccomend you BUY anything with eagles. Dont waste money on this game, like I did, you will get bored after 3 months or less. It's addictiing for a while, and VERY fun at that, but it doesnt have the replayability that other FTP games do. As you progress in your plane tech tree, it starts to take WAY to much time to research planes, and you don find it fun anymore.

As soon as i saw this game, It lured me in. My roots playing videogames date back to when I was 8. I remember asking my father what he was doing. "I'm playing a video game, son". From that point on I've been gaming. Anyway, when got steam in somwhere around december 2011/2012 I immediately jumped to the first 4X game I could find, Civ V. And now im here, reviewing what could be better or worse than civ, in my opinion.

RoN draws many similarities to AoE, wherin you control your units in realtime, building cities, marching armies, and advancing through technological ages, all simultaneously to the A.I. It start to differ from AoE however, in the content category. It spans the entire time humans have been on earth instead of the middle ages, it has air units, nuclear weapons, advanced battleships, big freakin' Tiger tanks, you name it. I simply cant reccomend Age of Empires II HD over this game, it just has more content. as for how it looks, its not amazing, but you have to expect that, as this game was originally from '03, and got remastered. It's not NEXT GEN ULTRA PHOTOREALISTIC, its more EARLY 21st CENTURY POLYGONAL GRAPHICS.The A.I. isnt as retarded as it is in other RTSs either, its actually a challenge on hard.

This game also has a "Conquer the World" gametype, that fused the RTS elements with some turn-based gameplay, similar to Total War games. Its cool, but the turn-based gameplay needs polish.

Overall, I can see why it was GOTY 2003, great game.

Ive played DayZ, State of Decay (Xbox), Apocalypse Rising, Deadzone, you name it. Survival (Specifically zombie,) is my game, and this is a strong contender in the genre. Remember this WHOLE game is made by one kid! It's amazing what a creative and skilled mind can do.

Now my overrall scores for each area. (This is where I give my beef with it...)

Graphics - 3/10, unless you like retro.
Depth - 8/10, lacks wide array of weapons, this is early acess however.
Ambiance - 2/10, needs a soundtrack and ambient noises.
Responsiveness - 10/10, Controls very well.
Difficulty Level: Medium

As a huge advocate of the Total War franchise, id say this is hands down the best Total War game ever made. Even with CA's recent release of Rome 2, it still does not compare to the level of pure effort put into Rome 1. Rome 2 is horedously buggy, overpriced, naval combat is a plus, but only makes the game more tedious, just as it did in Napoleon and Empire, and simply uses new age graphics to lure players. No game should be judged by graphics, onl by gameplay mechanics, sound, community, and execution. Anyone who says "DONT GUY THIS GAME OUTDATED GRAPHICZ SUX BUY SHOGUN OR ROME 2" is inceccantly butthurt about losing 60 Dollars to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that is Rome 2.

Buy this before you play ANY other Total War game.
