One the most (if not the most) sympathetic and loveable protagonist in any video game i have played so far is Special Agent Francis York Morgan. He is really on par with Special Agent Dale Bartholomew Cooper.
This game is not beautiful in graphical view, but it is beautiful in its setting and character design, in its story and voice acting.
Just one small tip at the end: Play it as it is and don't use the DP Crash Fix. I played the whole game without any problems, but when i used the fix to get a higher resolution it crashed often and at some point it crashed always in the same situation which made it impossible to continue. So i removed the DP Crash Fix and it worked again...
