Mechanics seem great, the gameplay changes are cool.

Multiplayer is unplayable, just like every past Civilization game. They can never get this right.
They also removed a bunch of common Civ settings, like quick movement, UI scaling, auto-travel...
UI is absolutely garbage like everyone else has said.

Fix the multiplayer, make the UI usable, and i'll repurchase.

Online play is not very functional at all. Ignoring the weird community entirely, there's no way to play with friends with them randomly being invisible or loading forever.

Game is good, but not good enough for me to recommend everyone give their personal data to Sony's network. They have a serious data breach every year. I'm sure the devs are being forced into this, but there needs to be pushback on this scummy process, especially now that Sony stated that players do not own the games they buy.

Game is good. When it works. DRM update seems to have broken everything, to the point that it won't boot on PC. Wouldn't recommend buying until they roll this back.
