Hey guys, have I told you about "The cake is a lie" reference from Portal? It's hilarious! Every time someone mentions cake or lies, I just have to say it. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a good Portal reference? It's like the best game ever!🤓

But the one quote that really sticks out to me is, "The cake is a lie." I mean, come on, it's such a classic line! Every time someone mentions cake or lies, I just have to say it. It's like a reflex at this point.🤓

But, I don't know why, lately when I make the reference, nobody seems to laugh. I mean, I think it's hilarious! I've even tried making it in different accents, but still, no one seems to think it's funny. It's so weird, I don't get it.🤓

One time, I made the reference at a family gathering, and everyone just stared at me in silence. It was so awkward, I thought for sure they would find it funny. Another time, I made the reference to a girl I was interested in, and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.🤓

But, I can't help it, I just love making Portal references all the time. It's like my personality now. I know some people find me annoying, but whatever, they just don't appreciate my humour. I mean, who wouldn't love to hang out with someone who's constantly making Portal references? It's just so cool and clever at the same time. 😎

Almost as weird once, I was at a funeral, and they were carrying the coffin when I smelled lemon cake for the wake. Endorphins rushed through my body as I proudly pronounced. "The cake is a lie!!!!!!" They got startled and dropped the coffin (sadly fatally crushing one of the four people carrying it😮‍💨), and they all immediately froze trying to process what was happening. What was weird, though, was nobody laughed, like at all! They instead called an ambulance and tried to resuscitate the crushed person. They must have been too busy trying to save him to appreciate my fantastic and genius original reference. I yelled "doesnt anybody here play PORTAL?" and nobody responded.They didn't laugh even after I told them too and threatened to jump in the grave if they didn't! Like what?

My (now ex) gf told me that it wasn't funny the first time or the nineteenth, but I just can't help myself. It's like a compulsion, you know? I mean, it's just so clever and funny. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.

So, if you're sick of me and my references, tough luck. I'm not gonna stop anytime soon. If you can't handle the awesomeness of a Portal reference, then that's your problem🤓

So, if you ever hear me saying, "The cake is a lie" for the millionth time, you better laugh. It is the funniest and greatest reference in the world and you must like it. It is so clever and subtle, and I know everybody secretly loves it. After all, the cake is a lie😃
