Everyone really lost there jibblets over this launch and I cannot tell why. Oh no! it was laggy for three days. Oh gee, i cant interact with my friends. I need constant human contact and quintillions of unexplored planets can't hold my interest because I have the attention span of a concussed mailbox. This is a fantastic game and I think it will change how we precieve games in the future. This game gives me a feeling of pure and powerful adventure and self reliance. I feel like a mix between Arthur Dent, Luke Skywalker, and Captain Cook. I discovered a planet where the only living thing I could find was a herd of giant pineapples that hopped around like kangaroos. There is depth in this game that I did not expect. (spoiler alert) The first race of aliens I encountered was the Gek. Trade loving, beaked frog people who communicate partially through their own odor. They seem harmless and goofy but the more you learn about their history, you find that they are xenofobic imperialists with a violent nationalism who's end goal is to exterminate all but their own. There are abndoned outposts overrun with a fungal pestalince that defies explaination. There are floating sky islands where you can land and take in the orbinting moon that fills half the green sky as starships cut trails, flying in formation above you. This game is what I have waited for since i was first introduced to Sci Fi. 14 people in tiny indie studio in england made me feel this way. They earned their 60 dollars.
