So Far I can say , do not compare SCUM to Dayz They are two different games. but if i were too, id say, gun play in dayz sounds better. Map design Dayz takes it. dayz has way better landscapes and spots that just feel creepy.
/ scum has the same buildings in each town and its gets boring. Zombies, Dayz takes it, the zombies are creepier in dayz. Dayz can be Frightening.
Scum has a better nutrition system and better mechanics for Surviving. Dayz is just so hard to fking live its rediculous. i feel like i just get sick n die or die of hunger all the time. finding food in dayz is TRASH.
Controls and Inventory management: SCUM takes the cake home. Managing the inventory is just so much better. Dayz feels Primative... Character Movement speed, I think dayz does it better than scum. Scum is almost too fast at times. Modding, SCUM has NONE>which it should. Dayz WINS for the modding department. Customization of character. SCUM Wins. Honestly dayz wins in alot of areas i think with 2 more years of development on SCUM and if they open up Partial mod support or full mod support SCUM will make dayz feel like it ever existed. but Scum needs to learn from dayz Pros and Cons. overall Dayz is KING. but i Love playing SCUM more.
