It is sad all the negative reviews of this game. While I don't disagree with much that is said I really enjoy playing the game. A few changes and this game couple be amazing to play (BTW I am on my third time throught the Unity)

1. More POI diversity. And when recycled more random encounter in them
2. Stairs on ships rather than ladders
3. Less damn scanning on planets. Scan an ore once but have to scan flora and fauna 6-10 times

There are a few others but all in all it is a fun play

Pros:
Very relaxing, fun to virtually travel around Europe. As a Semi fanatic this is a win that I have been playing it off and on since it released.

Cons:
They need to update the older part of the map. The DLC are great and have few bugs. The older sections could be updated to be as good as the DLC.

All in all a good buy and fun to play.

So, I am a truck fanatic and played ETS 2 a lot. SO when ATS came out I am stoked. Only thing was just getting 2 states. Huh, what is this, call it CAl-Nevada truck simulator. Then they started adding states and I suddenly got it. Pay for each state. This will make the game cost nearly $600 just for the base game. I don't mind paying for additional content to support the studio, but to have to pay for what should be the base game is stupid. I uninstalled the game and now refuse to support SCS. Sorry, just the way it is. Did this for another game that to enjoy to full game would cost nearly $10000 with all the DLC.

I know this game dev team has not always gotten the best reviews, but I really like this game so far. Did have to wait a year or so got updates to make it more playable, but it was worth the wait.

Been at this game for several years off and on. For me I get tired of it then the devs update it and I start again. Get into it, have fun.

Early Access Review
I can sum this game up in 1 word.

Addicting.

Jumped over from a competetor game, and I have not looked back. There a lot of things I would like to see in the game, but for an early access game, rock solid, and lots of fun.

Back to building my new capital vessel.

I am a total railfan, and I have also worked on a shortline passenger railroad. So much to my glee I bought this game. Graphics are amazing, and the feel is quite real, aside from a few nuisances. But... That is where it ends. This game has become nothing but micro transactions (if $19.99 for a loco is a micro transaction). Download a scenario from the workshop, and you have to buy locos to play it. You could seriously spend a good used car buying all the DLC. I picked up a lot of the DLC on various sales and still have spent nearly $120.

If you have a lot of money burning a hole in your pocket, give it a shot, but other than than two thumbs down.
