They are unnecessarily slow as in frustrating to drive. Slow can be fun if the cars perform properly, but the gear ratios are so bad it's like the car is struggling the whole time.

At intersections, cars are programmed to T-Bone you and come at twice your speed making it hard to react. Every single car on the road puts it's flashers and turns into your lane when nearby. As for the opponent AI, they will ram you into walls and swerve close to you for no reason. You can be ahead by 4 seconds and watch them crash in your rear view only to see them speed up beside you on the next turn. Top of your class? Doesn't matter opponents will still pass you.

Some parts require a "premium currency" like engine swaps. Cash flow is alright but the xp for unlocking parts and cars is really long and to add salt to the wound, you have to race with the frustratingly slow starter cars.
Edit: Got to rank 2 car deliveries only to find out there's a cooldown for each one now. That really pissed me off.



If you've played carx before you know they have the best in the industry. From exterior to interior. Wheel size, tire size, wheel spacers for offset and tucking rims to fit fender wells (looking at you forza). Recolor everything even suspension and brake calipers. All it's missing is liveries but that's coming soon.

They have all the popular cars and even the niche cars that makes a car enthusiast like myself very happy.

One of the most well put-together maps I've seen in a racing game. Lots of variation with all road types, from city to touge. It also looks great and roads are fun to drive on.

All in all, I'd still recommend the game if you can put up with the slow grind and frustrating AI as its like need for speed or midnight club, but better and recent.
