The games backend is just. Sad. I shouldnt be getting 40-50fps at 1080p with a 3900xt, 32gb of ram, and a4070 Super, on an m.2 nvme. Make it make sense

Its a fun game to casually drift and relax to music, Or if you're into the Grip Racing (Track Racing) then theres some of that but the development feels much more focused on Drifting. Its better than Forza for casual group drifting but lacks the sim depth of stuff like BeamNG or AC. It finds a really good balance between the Casual online/social elements of Forza and GTs Online while keeping it accessible enough to feel a bit more like a Simcade. The community is like a mix of tiktok kids and 2012 cod lobbies, so you'll see alot of wild stuff but find a few cool people along the way. Playing alone for a bit to learn and then hopping into an online lobby is how id recommend starting out. There is no best car just choose one you like.

Surface level time sink, Fun concepts but lacking real depth (and optimization)

Its a cute game (and concept), It totally scratches the kick back in bed and relax itch but...

Where i find myself getting hung-up is the research tree. its barren for the most part beyond giving you access to more money generating options (more drinks, kitchen w/takeout, hotel) and don't get me wrong I like the progression. where I'm hung-up with it is the lack of anything BUT those things. There are events you unlock through a grindy annoying challenge system to get recipes with wallpapers and not so special "elite" workers (just paying them more to be maxed out with no need to level) but im surprised the research tree doesnt allow for anymore events beyond the starting "Host Events" which just allows you to schedule the initial events, the only thing barring them from happening is having specific recipes which feeds you back into the grindy challenge system.

It feels like customization took a heavy back seat with very limited selections for wallpapers and floors to make you grind through the pseudo daily system (challenges refresh at the end of an in game day) with there being a 4 challenge max and they dont refresh upon completion only the end of day making the random challenges with random rewards even more numbing sometimes just for 200 gold or another wallpaper. This game could have really benefited from some Workshop support to help with the lack of content to customize you Tavern (limited decorations with limited variations usually gated by research or only able to change model color to a selection of preset basic colors (the primaries and a couple mixes like Purple)
Where the Customization shines is how you can get clever with the designs to min-max your setup but it only goes so far and sometimes you long for a more advanced system to compliment the precision grid placement system (actually very handy in a game like this but a toggle would be nice)

My last gripe is a very specific one with the Research tree but feeds into the overall lack of content. Near the End of the Research Tree there is an option to unlock a "winter" map that unlocks warm drinks and the need for warming your tavern (great concept worse execution) While this seems great because it unlocks a new game option and feels like a real reward for making it near the end in case you want to try something else when you finish where it falls short is the fact that its a smaller starting grid, shorter research tree, and you dont unlock extra drinks it REPLACES all the base Tavern drinks with warm variants on top of needing to unlock all those new drinks again and start over selling water. I mean come on. Total fumble in terms of building on your systems and making the player feel rewarded.

Like I said its a cute game but not one you can seriously sit down and enjoy, Best enjoyed when you want to kickback and relax by yourself, play a game with your partner, or introduce your kids to a game thats a little more complex.

After years of subpar, broken, buggy, half baked, underdelivered, overpromised garbage. This game is a whole lung full of fresh air. First game to really grab my attention in a long time

Its a fun game to relax with friends and fans of the IP but its very much a bare and lightened version of Diablo 3s formula. Very repetitious and next to no end game. The Tower offers the most replay value but is semi detached from the actual progression with exceptions to the rewards you gain from completed the weeks Tower.

Great for kids you want to get into Diablo when they get old enough but not much good for long term value, The DLC only adds 3 levels a piece and while there are new enemy types it feels lack luster and leaves you wishing more was added with each one. The Social space also lacks some dearly needed features that its competitors have.

Overall good for a few days grind if you're an adult but if you have a kid tagging along it may add more time to the experience

Im going through my first play through (No Phantom Libterty DLC) and tbh I dont feel motivated or inspired enough to buy it.

The game still feels a bit like a hollow Tech Demo for RT Technology but its at least stable on my system and I can play without any game breaking issues so thats a plus. Its an enjoyable Idea but I never feel like I can play the character outside the personality of the predefined dialogue. My biggest gripe is often what I select is not whats said, so conversations feel even more disconnected from the player and makes it feel more like im along for the ride in Vs story rather than creating my own legacy as a Merc. The story and character writing feels at odds with itself between trying to be known forever as a legend or fixing your issues with the Construct.

Its better. Im playing it finally. But it doesnt fully commit to a GTA style RPG with its characters and world building and the lacking features to try and compete leaves you wondering if the game could have been good had it not been rushed.

Games official life ended with Season 7 so its not even worth getting on sale. Barely any Maps, New Guns, Equipment, or Vehicles in the span of its troubled life. Go spend that money on an Indie Dev or somethin better developed

The games core structure is just too dated and mangled to really be updated or reworked. The game at its core has movement stuck in 2012 and you just wont see them changing that this far down the road.

Wait for the Next BattleField or go get the New CoD its not bad

Early Access Review
Its a fun engine Designer but the Company and Car design aspects are heavily lacking.

Most bodies are useless garbage for Lemons or Meme Cars, A problem made worse by the games over reliance on Workshop Content for all its Fixtures.

Dont waste time on the "Campaign" its caught in a development hell with unintuitive/clunky UI often bogged down by more UI. It doesnt suffer from Feature Creep like most drawn out Early Access games but a lack of Direction for its respective offerings.

The lack of Direction does seem to be getting better but its not really fixing the current issues just adding things in a more structured (and incredibly delayed) manor.

The news of the Re Addition of MP is nice but only shows the lack of Direction and proper resource/project management. Why in the middle of large scale overhauls are you now dedicating resources away to a whole other section of development. It doesnt make much sense but not my company not my game. which seems to be the sentiment of the Developers over time.

It will be interesting to see the Addition of Twin Charging and Super Chargers but again. Those are additions on top of a mountain of other problems that go unaddressed. With those additions comes more work with future updates because theres now other systems to update alongside with whats already there. But again. Not my company, not my Game.
