Okay. First of all, massive massive props +rep to my main G @mryolodickswinger( Subhojit Puchun Majumder) for introducing me to this gem of a game. Thanks a ton man ! This opened a completely new dimension for me.

Now, I haven't been much of a survival horror guy. I have usually avoided that genre as I know I can't handle the stress. Probably the only survival horror game that I've completed is Outlast 1 + Whistleblower. Could say I nearly shid my pants. As a matter of fact , I find R.E games not scary at all. But here my dear friend made me buy this for around $3 and after 7 hours, I can clearly say that I'd buy it for $30 as well. Not because I'm rich but this game deserves it.

The story revolves around your character onboard an airplane with your son named "Timmy". Due to unforeseen circumstances, the plane crashed in a desolate island and to your " much surprise", you and your son survive it and your son has been kidnapped by these cannibal tribal people who live on the island . P,S, these tribals behave pretty much like Humananimals from Metro Exodus. But here comes the fun part, These cannibals are extremely sneaky, cunning, fast and responsive. The enemy AI is probably the smartest I've ever sen in a game. They can dodge your attacks, track you silently on your way to the camp without you even knowing about it. Just don't be a douchebag and go on attacking with them. A single can be a huge threat and a horde or group is a certain death.

Coming to survival, this game keeps you on the edge of life and death all the time. You have to be in constant search of resources for your survival. You need to hunt animals, skin them, use the skin as a layer or armour if its necessary and gather the meat. Then, you need to build a fire to be able to cook the meat.you can't drink water from the sea, there are fresh water sources on the island but you cant drink directly from that as the water is polluted. You need to find a pan, collect the water in that, build a fire, boil it to distill it, and then you can drink it. That's how crafting intensive it is. There are numerous caves and dungeons, some quite rewaring. Some of them have extremely important items like the Modern Ax, Modern Bow, Chainsaw, Map, Compass, Rebreather. These objects are a must have for your survival.

Having made some significant advancements in the game within 7 hours, here's some tips for new or aspiring players :

1. Stay away from combat as much as possible. It drains the juice out of your body and if you face a group of cannibals or mutants, you are dead. So stay away from combat. Use auditory cues , crouch and keep away from them. Most importantly, never ever light your torch or lighter during the nights inside the forest. You will instantly make yourself a target for the cannibals. Never ever do that.

2. Go slow with the game. Do not rush or go into getting OP times early on. You will be eaten alive by creatures which you can't even imagine.

3. Try to rest out the night. It's quite unnerving and challenging to survive the night in the early stages. So sleep it out.

4. Cutting trees is essential as logs are the main base of every construction on the island. However, it comes at a cost. The more you cut trees, the more you/your camp is going to be attacked by the cannibals. So be aware. Plus, even if you cut trees far away from your camp, these cannibals will still silently track you back to your camp and will later make your life miserable.

5. Do not eat random plants in search of food when you are hungry. These plants or fruits are often naturally poisonous or intentionally poisoned by the cannibals and they can lead you to certain death. So suppose you are far away from your camp at the middle of the night and you are hungry. How do you survive ? 3 ways. One, you are expected to have snack bars with you in your backpack. IF you don't have, two, you turn off all your lights, crouch and sneak to the nearest beach shore. There will be plenty of seagulls and birds which often sit on the shore. Smack them , take their meat, make a fire and eat it. Now, why the sea shore out of all places? Because these cannibals or mutants cannot swim. So if by any chance they attack you on the beach, just skedaddle and go into the water. Third one, You die. Simple as that.

4. Only if you are a gigachad then play it solo. Other than that, never ever play this solo. It will be extremely scary, outright unfair difficult and very unnerving as the cannibals make sounds which are pretty effective in ruining your night's sleep. There are multiple open lobbies with players who are willing to help or guide you. You can hit me up or my friend if you need any help. Playing it with other player is absolutely advisable.

5. Please please please make your house on the beach. Its tactically safe and you must put up walls. Walls are a must have. Or else be prepared to have uninvited guests inside your crib at the middle of the night. Make a small shelter if you have to at first, but a wall is an absolute prerequisite.

Other than that, decent/ beautiful graphics. Not at all demanding, very simple yet fun gameplay. Slightly challenging combat. Overall, a must play even at current price. 10/10
