Being a fan of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, parts of this game were a big let down to me. The RPG aspects are greatly downplayed in favor of gunplay like we've never seen in a Fallout game before. However, even with a lack of RPG mechanics, this game is a special experience, one that has kept me entertained for hours. If you wan't to have an even better time with this game, mod it! The most fun I've had with this game is not from the vanilla experience, but from my ultra-modded playthroughs, where I attempt to re-implement the old RPG mechanics of past Fallout games. It's a great time no matter how you play it, however, so this game definitely deserves high praise. Just don't play Fallout 76, that sh*t is awful.

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

This game is one of the greatest video games I have ever played. It is so finely tuned, so beautifully simplistic, so perfectly acted and designed. Everything about this game screams passion. If you still have not played this game, I don't just recommend you give this a try, I beg you to. You won't regret it. Even years later, my love for this game is still alive.
