Hunt: Showdown is an atypical competitive shooter. A different way to see the online FPS videogames, with great settings and PvP-PvE features. The learning curve is a bastard and, while the matchmaking is generally pretty good in terms of finding you opponents, you’re going to die again and again, in awful and hideous ways. It’s grim and beautiful, with no single-player mode outside of the tutorial. And if that sounds awesome – and honestly it is.

~~The game's audio is impeccable!

There are only a handful of games that truly nail sound design like Hunt: Showdown. Audio cues are clear, distinct, and play a pivotal role in both the PVP and PVE gameplay.

Few games offer the same sense of exhilaration and panic as a match nears its finale in Hunt.

Whether you’re the hunter or the hunted, teamwork is crucial for covering each others’ backs. That makes playing solo incredibly difficult, to the point where Hunt is one of the few games that I actually preferred playing with a random (and often silent) partner to just going it alone. With a partner, you’re at least emboldened to act more aggressively and decisively.

So in my opinion, this game is made for everyone, to be competitive with friends and strangers or to have fun always!
