I have been a long term fan of the series and sadly was confined to watching gameplay before it came to pc. Now that I've finally sat down to play it myself I am pleasantly surprised my self spoilage has done little to affect the enjoyment of being "a part of" the story. I would appreciate the option to skip some of these scenes say, after a first playthrough. But I appreciate the importance of the almost ;) continuous shot throughout the game.

This game is beatifully done, graphically while lackng some key elements organization wise. Once these issues have been resolved i will change my review.

Here is a list of improvable mechanics.

Colonist management - Ability to easily assign colonists and mov them around

Job Management - The ability to get specific numbers of colonists of specific professions to fill up jobs. As well as force colonists to work

Easy fix for earth sickness. - Colonists should be able to be forced to stay. Presumably needing an interplanetary visa of some kind.

CONSTRUCTOR MANAGEMENT - Why cant I drag click to assign a bunch of constructors to one task... like say planetary annilation, starcraft etc.

Ability to store both colonists and cargo - Makes sense, especially if the coolonists are just leaving on the cargo ships I send...

FOOD MANAGMENT - Why is it that i have to build a food depot right outside my colony. Would a real colony force their colonists to go and put on a space suit to grab a snack? ( I understand there are facilities but surely they have a microwave in their residence or apartment... and also it's all vegetables, why not have a refrigeration unit inside the dome to prevent stored food deteriation?

Ability to choose another place on the map rather than having to do the new-game process,

This is an amazing game that has met all my expectations but left me wanting more. Understanding the size of the team that created it makes me all the more happy with what I already have. I do want to see some more aspects that were shown in the trailers and perhaps better npc mechanics but otherwise great game content. As far as the complaints about low fps and lag I had none. I agree they should probably set system requirements higher but I may be just lucky. (Currently Running on intel 6700k 4.4Ghz gtx 1070 1886 MHz and 16 ddr4 2800) I have been running buttery smooth 90 fps the whole time so no complaints from me. The price is a bit steep but with no cost (I assume) updates in the future I am excited to see what is in store for NMS. Cheers, Pixelburst.

Edit: Now that It think about it, this game is spore space stage on steriods with minecraft and eve online blended in I wouldn't say rip off because I dont even know if sean murray has the game but, well basically big spore, the goal is even the same, get to the center, I mean I love the game but dont see how it got most original game awards.

I very much like the style, It gives people real computer skills while maintaining security around the world of the internet.

Amazing physics simulation and beautiful graphics. 9/10 Especially happy with low system requirements.

Great Graphics but you need a good computer if you want to build a space ship so big it can destroy a planet then go for it

You want to go to the moon pssh peice of cake in KSP the limits are no the sky no the moon but the edge of the SOLAR SYSTEM build giant failing rockets (or sometimes good ones) to reach for the stars (planets) and make sure to get mods....ok i'm done
