Really beautifully intertwined art and mechanics, if a little bit opaque sometimes. This might be more fun to play with companion, so my companion was the internet when I got really stuck. Enjoyed it more than your traditional adventure game format.

The very end sequence felt like you had agency, but you didn't have any and and I found that very frustrating It felt like a budget, not quality, consideration. However the number of hours of super enjoyable gameplay that I got between that point in the beginning - this moment is entirely forgivable. Great level design, great systems design, great story, great character design. I did really enjoy the Jeff level - as did everybody - but I will say that this game made me realize that one of the accessibility options I want out of VR is the ability to adjust how scary the game is. Mostly that's control over music and lighting and gore. This game got very scary in some places, is all I'm going to say.

I really wanted to like this, because I think the concept is amazing. But I didn't like it. it was too difficult to do the little mechanical things that I needed to do and so I always felt overwhelmed and a very quickly got in over my head. was never able to see how others that were obviously playing in the same game that I was playing and were able to make so much progress. I wish somebody would take a quality of life pass at this game and make it more playable generally.

I didn't finish it, and I actually don't know if it has an end. But I did spend quite a bit of time sailing around trying to take a thing from one place to another according to the rules. Difficult for me to remember all of the connections between islands, and I think that made for a less enjoyable experience overall. But I did enjoy it enough to buy the next one from the same studio so that's something.

I'm surprised that I finished this because there were some quality of life features that needed to have but didn't. That being said many of the core mechanics were really compelling and interesting - and from very different perspectives. The translation systems are fascinating, the travel systems are really interesting and enjoyable in a flow way and you can just skip them if you don't like them. I didn't enjoy the locomotion about in situ elements as much. But overall it was satisfying, and it was nice to have the player character look different from every other player character that I played. This is one of those indie games that I will always look to as something that pioneered mechanics that AAA games 5 or 10 years later will perfect.

I guess I'm old school enough that not having objectives really made this unplayable for me. That being said my son who is currently nine and who's been playing it since he was six maybe,? Really seemed to enjoy it. That super open-world generation that grew up on Minecraft and stuff I think are going to have a different experience than I did. I would recommend it for kids.

160 hours in, so I like the game pretty well. I certainly wish that they had been able to build out some elements of it more, but for a small budget indie game I think they made great choices. I finished it three or four times, and every time it's worth it even though it's essentially the same ending. Never get greedy always be careful Don't rest too long in any one place That's my best advice. If you're looking for a survival crafting traveler of which there have been a number since this game came out originally none quite as good as this one I still highly recommend it and I still go to it when I need to just rest.

I was really really ready to like this, but I didn't. never really was able to get the picture of everything that was happening on board, and so I just ended up losing badly -- a lot.

I mean, it's XCOM. If you like this stuff you love this game and if you don't like this stuff you don't get it. I keep trying to get my friends who like football simulators and stuff like that to play this. I think they'd love it. But then I don't like football simulators so? p
