A classic HOG was initially released back in 2011, almost 11 years ago and it is still one of the most well-made hidden objects games. It surprised me how it is fully voiced, and you also get to choose the gender of your main character. Most of the games of this genre have a female protagonist so I went with a male character and I was not disappointed.

The story starts off with a letter you receive from a mystery man who only left his initial for you 'R', the moment you stepped inside of the mansion you released it was a trap and you'll have to find a way out. There are three versions of each room, a magical one, a current abandoned-looking one, and the original version of the room. Since there are only a couple of rooms it means you'll have to go back and forth to each room until you finish all the tasks, the map supports the fast traveling and gives indications in case you needed to know if there is anything that has to be done in this room or not.

In the beginning, the hidden objects scenes seemed to be easy, but later it became a little bit difficult, I have chosen a casual difficulty for the game, you can make it harder if you wish. The puzzles are quite repetitive but again, with different difficulties.

+Interesting graphics and location designs.
+Good music.
+Beautiful and useful journal keeps track of the story.
+Good voice-overs (You can choose the main character's gender).
+Good game length.

Cons
-The hidden objects scenes are recycled (You visit each one twice, and the items you took before are still there on the second visit)
-Repetitive puzzles.
-No steam achievements.

I enjoyed it, the ending was ok but I wished for more, the gameplay was quite enjoyable except for a couple of repetitive puzzles. Recommended to people who enjoy games with heavy hidden object scenes.
