I liked the game, but there is a reason that its been on significant sales multiple times since its release. it is at best, FINE.

I have been with this game during its ups and its downs, unfortunately not even Ben Brode's wonderful game design can conquer corporate greed. The game will proudly advertise a "play what you unpack" model and the lack of the ability to "just buy all the cards", unfortunately it isn't that simple. while it is true that you cannot mass buy all the cards, you can spend real world money on 1) specific cards/ variants(which count as owning the card) 2) cache keys (a resource used to unlock targeted cards) and 3) collectors tokens (another currency used to unlock targeted cards). the game will happily add 5-7 new cards in a season (1 month) but not the means for the average player to keep up with the new card drops. this game is fine if you have been in it for a while OR if you are brand new, but for anyone else who is free to play and not constantly grinding resources, you are out of luck. I had high hopes for this game but unfortunately it seems doomed to die due to all the corporate greed and 99$ bundles that offer 1 or 2 cards. If you are a new player considering starting Snap as a free to play, I would consider skipping this one, there will be another card game down the line and maybe then they will get it right.
