Bought this to play with my GF.

The game isn't hard because of it's difficulty but because it has some bad game design and it's frustrating.

It lacks lot's of life quality that "After more 2 hours playing" or "after a few grinding" are solved (like needing to spam clicking left mouse button to hit, but at the beginning you are surrounded by creatures who will take 10 hits to die and everytime you die you need to wait a stupid time for cooldown, in 2 hours I just got annoyed and with pain due to tendonitis, but eventually you will have an weapon which you can just hold the click button and it will auto-attack, or have a better weapon that will kill in less damage) but if the game is just annoying until there, it's pointless to keep going, the game must draw your attention right at the beginning.

Another argument of "mods can improve this experience" is just to reinforce the game is annoying and you need external tools to make in pleasing.

I have fully beaten all Dark Souls and Elden Ring and never felt as annoyed and frustraded like I did with this game.

Terraria and I Wanna Be The Guy shares the same category for me, one is just the RPG version of the other (with a timer to respawn)

Personal note: I also didn't like much the soundtrack as well, but that's just a personal taste, some people will like, others won't
