Man, it's just good. Cannot recommend more. Every weapon is viable and enjoyable, and I recommend trying them all in the long run. You might think "I'm a longsword kinda guy", but then randomly try switch axe or something in an arena, and fall in love with it. That's the beauty of this. It's only limited by you.

Good for hangovers. Otherwise not really amazing.

I guess if you drink a lot often, get this?

Let me get this out of the way first. From my current experience, NieR:Automata is a fantastic game, in terms of many things, including smooth combat, fantastic music and immersive gameplay elements.

But it certainly has issues.

As you may see, I have not played the game for very long. But in this time, which is about 3 hours, I have had the game freeze up on me 4 times. This is certainly a problem.
For the first 1.5 hour or so, the game ran beatifully (though I had to force it to run windowed borderless through a 3rd party program), but after I took a little break and started up the game later, it would freeze about every 30 minutes on average.
This caused me to lose a lot of progress, and generally put me in a pissy mood. I have tried to change a ton of settings, but to no avail. I have now submitted a report to Nvidia (because people with the same graphics card as me are reporting the same issue).
I hope this problem will be solved swiftly, either by the developers of NieR:Automata or Nvidia.

Until then, this review will be negative.

EDIT: I have now gotten the game to work without crashing. It is a damn wonderful game. Will write fix in comments.
