"It's F2P, why not try it?" Is almost like saying "You'll get this shot of heroin for free, don't worry it wont ruin your life". This has been the most painful and infuriating 2 months of time spent in-game. Yet I still remember the smile this game brought to my face, 1 400 hours ago, and keep coming back with the hope of getting that smile back. You can't even comprehend the amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you will be faced with. It's like a bad relative that abused you. At first you're too innocent to realize it. Then you're naive. You grow up and realize what happened years ago... realize just how wrong it is. But it's too late now. You're already obsessed and addicted, hungering for more and more. It will be a tough fight either ignoring all the bad things and feeding your addiction, or the path I've chosen, breaking the addiction before I start stabbing TF2 devs.

The devs have taken steps towards not making the game suck, and I hope they succeed fully. But as we've seen in the recent past, they will much rather work in the shadows, spying on you, but not using that information and instead sticking to the ideas they had at game-launch. Statistics isn't everything Valve, nobody uses some weapons at higher skill levels because they trade teamwork for raw power, which is not good in high skill matches. They seem to be more about sticking to tradition rather than doing the right thing. Many ancient empires have fallen due to outdated traditions, and I fear The Empire of Gaben will experience this 1st hand. We don't even know if they are working on fixing these things. The last time you could say hiding in the shadows did good for Valve was Mann versus Machine, which was 4 years ago.

It's amazing how much this game brings out anger managment issues and the likelihood to get depression. This game wants you to know, that no matter what you do right and your competitor does wrong, they will still win. Even if you work hard and are getting ahead, he will still win in the long run. Doesn't matter how much better you are, doesn't matter how brain dead your opponent is, life will find a way to bring you down. This thing I talk of, is called a "Random" critical hit. I feel like "60% chance of ♥♥♥♥ flying at your face so fast it breaks your neck" would be more appropriate. Basically you have a 2% chance of getting a random crit with normal weapons. This will increase to 12% if you've done 800damage in the last 20 seconds(which isn't that hard tbh).
If you get said random crit, your shot will deal an insane 3x damage. If normally you could survive 3 shots, say goodbye, because this ♥♥♥♥ will do 3x damage and send you flying so high, when you land whatever health you had left will be depleted. With melee weapons though, you start with a 15% chance to crit, yeah you know 3% higher than you can ever get with a normal weapon. Doing 800dmg in 20s will now give you.. wait for it... 60% CHANCE WTF! You have a HIGHER chance of critting than not!
Then when you manage to avoid all the random crits flying at your face you face a new problem: Hitreg. No, I'm not talking about myself, I merely named myself in protest of said mechanic. This mechanic in itself is not the devil himself, unlike random crits. No, its the weakness of the mechanic that's so hated. If you're playing any class involving precision aiming or melee weapons, you will hate your life, mornings suck and someone pissed in your coffee. The 4 reasons you live for are: 1.Complaing. 2. Eating salt and salt only. 3. Monopoly related violence. 4. Getting wasted to dull the pain. Go choke a goat or something to let out your anger. A choice between fixing hitreg and curing cancer is not easy for everyone. But a choice of cancer or hitreg issues happening to you is clearer. Cancer every time. ♥♥♥♥ I would give an arm and a kidney to whoever promised to fix this. Everytime you are about to win, your HIT doesn't even REGister and the enemy survives long enough to kill you.

That is just a start, and you will be fed much more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than the FDA approves of. This is a real depressing thing I had to write, but I feel you have the right to know before hand. I'm gonna keep adding more things here when I have the time. Who knows? Maybe I will be taking antidepressants by then.

TL;DR: This game is a waste of space, great if you want to get riled up and fast.
