Decent

This is THE deckbuilding rougelike.

The most fun, action packed, co-op shooter I've played in a hot minute.
It's as good as it looks.

Decent for the price (got it on sale for £2.50) if you're into old Silent Hill/Resident Evil, bought it to play with my girlfriend (big silent hill fan) and we completed the game in one sitting. I'll be back for a 100% run on the unlocked special mode with the goodies you get for beating normal.

Story isn't that interesting but the gameplay/mechanics are all solid for a game so old, the difficulty of the puzzles and enemies is balanced as long as you take the time to explore to find completely missable weapons/ammo. The fact it runs at 120 frames smooth and loading screens are just a fade to black for 0.1 seconds really helped, would gladly return if it ever got a remaster akin to the Resident Evil ones we're seeing.

About the only negative I have to say is about the fixed camera angle being a bit TOO sharp and focused in on player 1, but didn't make much difference in the end because I understand it was a design choice that only lends MORE to horror games like this.

Before you read this I'd like to admit something.
I've never enjoyed Armored Core games.

Having completed the game 3 times for all endings and experiencing the alternate story missions/boss fights and the late game weapons/armour I'd have to say you get more than you pay for with this game. All aspects of AC6 are fully fleshed out and work like a charm, the amount of content/customisation you get is perfect and the story/universe is genuinely interesting.

The difficulty is at a sweet spot of, every new boss I fought I died quickly and thought "this just seems impossible" but was a genuine skill issue to overcome.
The story was interesting and engaging, especially on NG+/++ because you get to make choices that will impact what missions you get in the late game and how/who you fight.
The customisation of all parts is perfect in the sense that you can play/look however you'd like to tackle any given situation.

Absolute gem and worth working for a 100% completion!

it's okay

An incredible game and a must buy for fans of indie/retro/cult/card games.

At first I thought it was just a card game with some puzzles thrown in to keep your interest but I was completely wrong. Inscryption is much more than just another card game because every chapter changes the game up and varies the mechanics involved all the while becoming more challenging, interesting and hiding more secrets/surprises as the story unfolds.

Very creative and well worth the few minutes.
