A small game with a decent story, the biggest problem i have with this game is how it is quite deceptively portayed on the steam page as well as in the trailers. The entire game is portrayed as a diner at the end of the world, but there is no end of the world each character faces his/her own problems and the apocalyptic phenomena are all is inside the head of the protagonist, which therefore is never mentioned in the game by any of the other characters.

The following is straight from the steam page:


"Share thoughts and hot food with your last ever clients, as you wait for the world to end. "
"Now looming over the characters is the catastrophic threat of the end of the world. At the diner, some of your customers seem to ignore it, blinded by their own problems they play the whole thing down or even refuse to believe it."

"Faced with death, observe the range of human dynamics from behind a counter."

all sketching a version of the game that simply isn't there.

It's a decent game, but if you aren't into hunting games this most likely won't be for you, long traversal times while visually stunning feels quite lacking. The monsters ai was a bit weird with some monsters slowly following and stopping a couple meters behind you seemingly doing nothing, to others just making a beeline straight for you. Besides finding the gameplay lacking a few minor things as a crash when loading into the second area of the game and having not fully understood parts of the tutorial, still have no idea what secondary magic does within the game.

TL;DR: Visual style and atmosphere superb, gameplay lacking

Audio drops after couple of minutes of playing, seems to happen to other people aswell. Support for this game is helpful in the slightest, wouldn't recommend contacting them over anything and just refund the game

Played this after the end game got 2 hours of content out of it like the description suggests and got the following to note about this dlc

The Bad:
-Seperate story which isn't that interesting
-An extremely disappointing new enemy

The inbetween:
-The ice breaking is fun, but is only used 1-3 times throughout the dlc

The Good:
-The new Ice cubes you can pack in your inventory are what i would call quality of life improvements for the rest of the game. That is if you don't visit it as the last island.

I would personally not recommend this dlc, it's basicly just a fifth island with a not so unique mechanic compared to the rest of the islands.

Absolutely unplayable multiplayer, when invading you can barely move or switch weapons with the game constantly teleporting you back to where you were. with no options what so ever to choose how far away you want matchmaking to be.

I've played just shy of 2 hours in this game and it already started to feel repetitive there is not a lot of map variety and thus don't see myself playing this game for more than another 2 hours top. This is the main reason i see for why people should not buy this game as of yet(server issues don't help but i'm not taking them into account). For me personally i also do not like the what feels like the mandatory team fight each game. This team fight often feels like a 1-2/3 chance of winning even if you do your best and for example end with a tail, you might still lose due to nobody else in your team having one, this i feel is extremely frustrating for something that happens to atleast someone each game.

TL:DR: Too little Variety, to be worth it

A weird exploration game, The game is roughly an hour long, the scanning mechanic to make your way around the caves is indeed unique, but i don't feel like this experience is enough to justify playing this game over another game, if this game appeals to you why not give it a chance, but i'd skip over this game and play something else.

A good game for kids, it has some good puzzles which will even require some adults to think hard, it has 1 puzzle though that is very unclear which basicly acts as an unbreakable wall in the game. Wouldn't recommend putting time in this game and look for a different puzzle game.

A weird narritive game, game is about 3-4 hours long, has some quirky humour in it and the game seems to not even take itself seriously yet it has a weird charm to it, while i will recommend this game, i would not recommend buying it for 20.00 Euro's ( Or whatever currency equivalent you use) and wait for it to be a bit cheaper.

A fun silly game. which will keep you entertained for 6-10 hours, the game is basiclly all about burning stuff and combining them together, story is unique yet not something that will make much of a difference, it's different from anything i've played before and i had fun playing it so i'd recommend it for anybody that would enjoy playing this relaxed and somewhat wholesome game.
