For an oldschool gamer and especially a mythology geek as myself Titan Quest is THE uncontested winner in the ARPG genre. The mere fact that this game is still alive almost 15 years after its first release says something, doesnt it? It was made with love by it's creators - with all the sunny landscapes, dark dungeons, old temples and mythical creatures... Compared to newer games like Grim Dawn and PoE, Titan Quest may have a dated engine, but the mythology setting gives it far more "warmth" and authentity than the average dark fantasy game. From a modder's perspective this game also offers quite a lot for its age - I may be biased here, because I love modding it :)
Buy this game and try it if you haven't. You money will be well spent.
