An absolutely stellar game (hah) that was truly an evocative and satisfying experience, start to finish. The less you know about it before you play, the better — admittedly making it hard to recommend to friends. "Yeah, it's a game in space, that's all. Just play it, you'll see! God no, don't google it!"

The music, visuals, writing and attention to detail are all fantastic, too. I'll play through it again in a few years, but nothing will beat my first playthrough. :)
