On the main screen you would click on coop and host a game, there should be a box to check if you want to make it a private game, you can click that or leave the game open. Also there should be a number tally as to how many players you want to allow in the game (8 max). Configure things how you want. There will also be a button for inviting your friends to play, click that and then send th e invites to your friends. One they are in your lobby go ahead and start your game. You can also invite to game your friends from the messager
