Arma Reforger is an interesting game that blends more realistic mods we seen from Arma 3 with less jank physics and a load more infantry combat style!

7/10 Should be base game.

It adds the ability to play as a single general and lead the troops that would be under their control. Removing many of the economy features from your control it makes the feel that you are little more than a cog in the civil war come true. It is a shame that it is a bit slow and many actions that you can do takes weeks if not months in game.

It does feel buggy at points but this is more to do with the base game and less the dlc though these issues are amplified. Things like units getting stuck, not responding to commands or worse bad AI logic leads it to feel a little off. Though it is one of few dlcs that I have played that feels original and full enough to be apart of the base game as a new mode.

9/10 Playable and enjoyable. There is a learning curve that can punish new players but tool tips are there to help guide.
All around a good game, probably going to sink more time in.

PS2 has been a joy to play through the years. With many re-balances changing and refreshing the way you play.

Songs of Syx is a lovely city builder game. It has combat, scaling citizen needs along with tiered systems to allow the player to spend time fleshing out their city while also making it hard to get everything. It plays similar to dwarf fortress but is less in depth.

All around I can see this game being potential fun, but it lacks a lot in context and reasoning. The design is very complex which makes the ship building processed all the more fun as each ship is unique and different. though with this complexity it adds the fact that the game play relies heavily on AI aiming and shooting all weapons, which in itself is not bad but leave allot of engagements feel like miss opportunities or power plays going answered. With this in mind the campaign as a whole feels curtained and less of a campaign and more as a naval test. Most of which being how well did you predict an event rather than you having control over said war events.

Pros
- Nice graphics
- Decent Music
- In depth naval Gore/stats
- Modest combat Scenes

Cons
- Lack of control
- Hair pin campaign

The game was once smooth but now is not, years of filing left it rough, clunk it goes as I for the final time I free up hard drive space.

This was a great game and honestly had a lot of promise.

The reason for the lack of hope on it is due to the main developing team pulling focus from Medieval Engineers to their other game Space Engineers. This means that there will be very few if any updates and most of which will only be bug fixes. Even though it was enjoyable, it is not at what I can comfortably say that it is a complete and good game to pay for and play. I wish it could have gotten more attention but sadly it did not.

DOI is a great game, sadly though it isn't as big as it should be.

What is nice
☼ A functioning class system
☼ Well made characters and weapons
☼ Decent class balance

Problems
☼ Problematic map design, in ways that makes camping extremely easy and profitable.
☼ Limited player base

The maps issue is simply one of the major ones where experienced players can team wipe hundreds of times with no recourse, and the limited player base is an effect of this. If this was fixed it could help with it but sadly it is a little too late to bring more people to it.

The classes all feel as though they have purpose and are not completely useless or overpowered. The weapons and characters make it feel as if there is something more to the combat.

I honestly can say I recommend it even if there are a good number of issues even ones I didn't bring up. It is still fun when they aren't in effect.
