TL;DR buyer beware you may experience constant crashing

Until PC Optimization is figured out this game is literally unplayable for me. Consistently crashes what loading a save from "Continue" on the home screen, Crashes when i open menus, or any pop up that occurs. i've been able to visit Brogan and cannot get past that point without crashes.

System Spec
CPU Ryzen 5 7600x
GPU RTX 3070ti
32gb ddr5 RAM
Installed on a NVMe M.2
moved to a seperate SATA SSD
not overclocking GPU or CPU

only runs in Compatibility Mode Windows 8 with the frames locked to 58 thru Nvidia Control Panel. changed System pagingfile from automatic to system managed.

jumping thru so many hoops just to get a few less crashes ain't worth it, i'd refund the game if i could.

As of right now i cannot, in good faith, recommend this title to anyone except maybe the most dedicated fans of spiderman. This is a poor PC port of a console game with no optimization what-so-ever. My PC runs everything from Arma 3 to Dark Souls 2 on high settings without any drop in performance, and yet this game is still a choppy mess on its lowest settings, and lets not forget the poor and cheesy voice actting, and bland Arkham Knight-sque combat system. I'd hazard a guess this game runs much better on consoles, but i'm not going to shell $60 for a system i haven't touched since Dark souls 2 dropped on PC.

fantastic game, everything that Diablo 3 did wrong, torchlight II did right.
