Stará dobrá klasika, bohužel definitivní edice trpí na různé grafické bugy.

I am genuinely happy to see one of the best games I have ever played in my life being remade. Gothic was the first larger game I have played in my life. The whole series accompanied me throughout my childhood as I played every new release (even Arcania, whole Risen series and ELEX) and managed to get my friends to play Gothic aswell, some of which also fell in love with the game.

While playing this teaser I was feeling the nostalgia, espacially with the quest for obtainting the sword (multiple outcomes, possible effect in the future depending on the execution of the quest, reward for paying attention to the dialogue and exploring the environment...)

On the other hand the location and story felt very different to the original. No "Welcome to the colony" punch from Bullit. No fighting with the scavengers using pickaxe. Just some weird ruins that do not really fit in to the original Gothic universe.

Please do not change the locations entrirely - that is the one of the most essential things making Gothic what it is.

Also please focus on the movement and combat. Combat in the teaser felt like a bad For Honor ripoff, but certainly better idea than mashing lmb with occasional heavy attack and still being being stunlocked to death by faster attacking enemy like in ELEX.

I am still looking forward to the main release and I am very thankful to the devs for taking on this task.

-AI someting behaves strange (e.g. you snipe someone from a long distance and civilians around just freeze and keep staring at the dead body)

Game plays very much like the previous game. If you liked HITMAN you definitely should not miss out on HITMAN 2.
