Let me start this off by saying this game is an absolute blast.



I dont recall having this much fun in any game before where your goal is, to put it simply, to slice and dice your way through enemy hordes. While that sounds enticing to many, there are tons of games out there that do it wrong; but this one does it right.




The Pros: -beautiful scenery/all around very nice graphics
-exceptionally fun gameplay mechanic, especially when playing with friends
-character variation/unique and fitting character abilities
-interesting characters with a lot of backstory and lore (though most you have to read up online)
-different classes for all characters (providing you with unique ways to go about smashing the filth)
-many different weapons to choose from according to your playstyle
-satisfying Boss battles
-extremely funny dialogue/character interactions
-the lore feels right and accurate
-absolutely nails the atmosphere of the warhammer world
-many different and interesting levels (+DLC levels)
-starter friendly to extremely challenging difficulty settings
-quite a lot of enemy variation/types with some requiring specific ways to kill them


The cons: -the occasional bugs/floating enemies (though few and far between, also tend to be hilarious)
-steep learning curve, hard to master type game requiring experience to get better at it
-teamwork is absolutely key at high difficulties in many situations especially boss battles/hordes
-the occasional teammate is less than cooperative, which can ruin games sometimes
-at high difficulty you are the literal definition of squishy (BY SIGMAR, BLOCK & DONT GET HIT)



All in all it is a very awesome, satisfying but definitely quite difficult teamwork based hack and slash game experience. Not at all your run of the mill casual hack and slash. Dont get discouraged though, we all sucked at this game when we started, and many players in this community are welcoming towards beginners and will help you out!
