Fun, relaxing and charming game. Be a humble rancher, tending to your slimes.

After starting Warframe, I've seen this game grow and change all for the better. Every so often, they come out with another game-changing update that will keep you hooked. If you've played Warframe when it was starting out and you haven't been back to it, you wouldn't be playing the same game (At least, you'de beed help recognizing it). Now, I'll try to keep it short, but here are the details I think you should know.

Graphics:
Amazing artwork, nothing to laugh at here. The visuals will not let you down, and for those with NVIDIA graphic cards, you even get extra effects that are exclusive to each character you play.

Gameplay:
  • As of right now, there are 22 characters, or "Warframes" to play as, not including several "Prime" counterparts (There are 8 Prime Warframes, 1 being unobtainable right now)
  • Each "Warframe" has 4 unique abilites that are unlocked as you level that Warframe up. The max level for them is 30.
  • Warframes benefit from adding Mods, which are randomly dropped from enemies. They require mod capactity, which a Warframe gains as it levels up. (there are currently 993 mods in the game)
  • A Warframe is made by crafting 3 pieces in the players Foundry, then crafting the Warframe itself with the blueprints and all three pieces.
  • Weapons are obtained in a similar manor, however, they vary greatly. Some weapons require parts, and others require Materials. They, too, require mod capacity for any mods to be added.
  • The action of the game takes place in Missions (There are currently 16 mission-types) Not all missions are necessary to complete, however, certain planets and nodes require certain missions to be completed.
  • There are 4 different factions the player will face (not including PVP) that require different strategies and builds to attack and survive. Damage types come into play here, as well as knowing what enemies are good at and hot to counter it.

Free to Play: Platinum
What is it? Platinum is the market currency players can buy. As a Free to Play game, Warframe makes it's money from this. Platinum can be bought from the store or traded for mods or Prime parts.
What's it for? Platinum is used for buying coloring pallettes to better customize your weapons and Warframes, buy Costmetic items, buying equipment/Warframe/Weapons in the market you'de otherwise have to make, and for eliminating the crafting time of an item in the process of being made.
Buying Platinum is not necessary to get far in the game. It can, however, speed things along greatly.

It is important to note that the beginning of the game doesn't leave you with much. I recommend teaming up with friends if you have any already into Warframe, and if not, taking your time and completing any of the starting missions to level up and find mods.
