Best Sonic game I've played since the 90's. A True return to form. Made by fans for the fans.

Bought it, complete it, returned it!

First off I played this game on the Oculus Rift. The game ran and played well with the Touch controllers. The only issue I had was at the very start of the game. Trying to select around the cell phone to bring up the main menu. After that everything played out as intended, no fighting with the controls for the rest of the play through.

This game was fun for a single playthrough... but that's all. The game had Zero replayability, which is unfortunate. I thought this was a port to VR of the "Double Peace" version of the game, it's not. There are about 8 levels to play, each lasting 10 minutes at best. Just a simple on rail shooter with no story, mini-games, doki doki bonus rounds or items to collect. Yeah, you can try and beat the top scores. There's also the ability to change the outfits of the girls you encounter. Even the option to hang out with a single girl in the class room or in your bed room back home... but that's All the game has to offer.

That said, I Really wanted to like this game. But with it's lack of content in comparison to the non-VR version of the game, it just wasn't worth it. (I bought this when it was on sale for $20) I wish demo's were still a thing. Maybe when Gal Gun 2 comes out for The Switch, pc owners "Might" get a VR version of the exact game (content-wise). Not some ultra-gimped watered down version of a game such as this.

After spending time in Japan, I thought this game would have further improved or been a refresher for me. Turns out this game is meant "Purely" for beginners. This game isn't bad. It's just I'm forced to sift through the beginnings of a language I already understand. If this game had a skip chapters feature or gets an update for Kanji, I would gladly buy this title again.

I am by no means a professional car sim driver/racer but I understand the basics when it comes to tuning and driving a car for track or drift. I also only play driving games in manual and not automatic. I have played other driving games such as Forza Motorsport 4 (Xbox 360) and Grand Turismo 4 (Playstation 2).

For a FREE game despite it's mixed reviews, I decided to go in to this game open-minded and give it a shot. I setup all the controls before attempting to run a "Qualifying Race", just to test how the cars would drive before I would play online. I never made it online... I understand that the car given too much throttle can make it spin out, but this was beyond REDICULOUS!!!! It was nearly impossible to keep the cars from spinning out. I tried this game with both keyboard and mouse but I perfer an xbox controller. Maybe that is why the cars did no perform so well, because I do not have a steering wheel and pedal setup. I won't neglect to mention that I only played this game for about 25 minutes but this game just didn't feel like it was worth my time. I'll stick to paid for driving sims from now on.

Yet again I'm FORCED to leave another negative review. This time, I logged on to GTA Online the other day. I was met with a Rockstar message -$1500000 has been removed from your account. leaving me with around $60k. Really Rockstar Really?!?!

I can't stand when I join a lobby with hackers that give away money or other players STILL asking for handouts. I am one of these people that reports these players to Rockstar. As soon as money is being dropped on me I leave the game. Yes I did accumulate some hacked $ but Definately not more than $10k (over the course of trying to avoid these encounters hence my shorter and shorter times being logged in to this service) I earned my in-game money by playing missions, heist and other activities that were legitimate ways of earning money programmed in by Rockstar.

It's reasons such as these as to why I hardly ever log in to GTA Online anymore. I was hoping the next time that I logged in to change my review from negative to positive. Rockstar games makes this decision of mine IMPOSSIBLE.

...And what a shame I've been a fan and have enjoyed this series since GTA III on PS2. This online portion of the game that is LITTERED with microtran$action$ has got to go! Either that or slow down on the new online content. Where you can have the time to appease both the online and offline players of your games. GTA IV's version of online or even GTA SAMP was all this game needed to be. If it HAD to have an online feature at all. It's because of this online part of GTA V that is so HEAVILY dependant on $. It leads me to believe THIS is why we NEVER got single-player DLC.

Amazing must have PC title. A well-deserved 10/10. I would not buy this game for anything else (consoles). Stunning visuals music/sounds and story-telling, with a Steampunk-esque appeal. All the better now that the Rapture DLC is on the way. If you are a fan of Bioshock or wondering when that next Great video game will come along.... Look no further and add this Future Classic to your gaming library.

If you like a RP environment and enjoy games like GTA or Saints Row you should definatlely consider giving this game a try. Its Free to play and also uses Last.FM for their music selection as well.
