This game got me hooked from the very beginning, it was the best time invested and I am still investing time in it, the game is good, like it reminds me of SMT in terms of grinding and digi converting, though super easy in comparison, I beat Cybersleuth and I liked the story and I am in the middle of Hackers memory. The grinding in this game is fast paced because there are ways you can cheese getting EXP leveling up your digimon and de-digivolving them, as someone who played digimon world DS this game is so much faster and optimized.

ITS ADDICTING, YOU GET PAST ALL THE JUMPSCARES AFTER A FEW GAMES AND IT BECOMES MORE STRESSFUL, IT STILL GETS SCARY FROM TIME TO TIME BUT ITS GOOD FUN

1000+ hours on this easily, as I had this for the Dreamcast and the Gamecube, though it sucks that it doesn't have the OG soundtrack :(

Fun game to kill time, plays like Shovel Knight/OGMegaman really fun

Get the Gamecube, or heck Emulate it, because even PC the gamecube version looks so much better.

The hours on steam don't reflect the actual hours I have played, 1 I have played this since 2013 when the level cap was 60. Its like 75 now or 80 idk, anyway I have over 500+ hours I would say, Either way, play it if you want, at this point you are beating a dead horse.

A lot more fun, but I am biased because I used to spend all my time in Internet Cafes/PCBangs playing 1.6. This is a good substitute and nostalgia aside it holds its own as a real shooter that takes skill.

Same issues as Combat Arms, wall hackers and aim bots.
