Thus far it's a well-optimized, very familiar experience.
I know there's a heavy discourse about the "Epic Store" and it's quite the unethical way to get things done, by the company, but it's not necessarily anything new, certainly not surprising that a company decides things behind their customers' backs.
I'm enjoying the game (for now as a solo player), it runs well, you can quickly fix the forceful requirement to install "Epic Games", as provided by guides and even reviews in the community.
So if I were to judge the game and people who actually made it, I would give it definitely a thumbs up.
But for the corporation and their unethical, sneaky ways of doing things I'd say they clowned themselves and it's a no for me.
If you feel strongly about it, don't get it, or wait for even bigger discount if this price-point is too much.
But honestly the game itself is fun, nothing ground-breaking, feels almost identical to the previous installments,
but I'm sure I'll spend lots of hours in it, sometimes you need that 2014-like game in 2024 😂.

Thank you so much !
First of all I'd like to express gratitude towards this franchise and the lovely people behind it ! ♡
This installment was the first one I've noticed and now it's gotten a lovely update, which makes this part of the journey feel complete.
The price for all the games from these ฅ ameowzing ฅ devs is truly not high at all for the amount of relaxation, comfort and peace it has brought me.
"A Castle Full of Cats" ♖ doesn't take longer than 2 or 3 hours to complete
(if you really take it at a very relaxing pace), but it let me completely forget about all the issues that have been troubling me from the outside world.
The art style of this franchise, the minimalistic, although very adorable animations and the accompanying soundtrack make it a very successful combo for one to have a chill evening with a side of coffee, tea or hot choco.
As they say good things don't last forever, but this was definitely worth my time and money.
The developers also have created a lovely community on discord and they are a bunch of passionate and talented folk, who bring awareness to- and highlight the importance of adoption of kitties who are just as wonderful, but less fortunate than some others.
Long story, short - worth, every penny
There's also other installments and similar games, which "Devcats" have created and I'm eager to check out and play.
There's no sign of them slowing down and I'm happy for the growth of their artistry and customer base. ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

Early Access Review
It's for sure an enjoyable experience, but by no means it's perfect.
It has it's faults:
- On higher difficulties it's purely luck based, and even with the luck upgrade maxed out, most of my upgrades end up being common and it just... doesn't get me very far, having to outrun enemies the entire time... till there's too many.
-Basically having to sacrifice your run (multiple runs in many cases, since the game just doesn't wanna cooperate and give you said upgrades) to unlock "overclock" for a weapon which won't contribute a lot to the overall dps in the end.
-Having to rush to the pod within 30 seconds after killing the boss is also way too little time, either it needs to be extended or removed with difficulty continuously spiking. It introduces a stress factor, which doesn't necessarily fit in with the rest of the gameplay.
For an "early access" title, I'm sure it's gonna receive more content, more meta-progression etc., but in my eyes, those statements above could get addressed fairly soon to improve the game.
For now it's good, but it can become great !

⋆⭒˚.⋆ Countless hours of nostalgia. ⋆⭒˚.⋆
If you loved these wonderful adventures back in the day, now it's the time to play them on modern PCs with no issues.
For 30 Euros you get 3 games and 3 expansions and it's so much fun.
There have been few patches released that fixed and upgraded various things and the experience is marvelous.
There's photo mode, which is a nice addition, so you can capture the game in all of it's remastered glory.
There's also plenty of mods available made by Tomb Raider community and they are incredibly easy to implement.
So if you want something extra fresh, you can always resort to installing a few here and there.
Reliving some of the precious memories from my childhood on the weekends feels priceless, but it costs mere 28,99€.
Now you can not only play for sport, but also for wonderfully relived nostalgia.

This game keeps just getting better and better.
The devs communicate actively with the playerbase.
Game is being updated basically on a weekly basis.
There's more and more features and cool new things being added.
If any issues arise, they are being addressed and fixed asap.
Highly recommend, especially for such low price.
Definitely worth the support !
