Skullgirls got a censor update that removed many things, like removing bracers, removed soviet announcer (wich was a KICKSTARTER goal) and censored a character's sad backstory.

They also removed some arts from the ARTBOOK, Wich once again, people did PAY for it.

Censoring a game that is 10 years old, that's like burning books, it's a shame! It's an insult to the arts and to all peoples that have bought the game!

Fearmonium is a psycheledic metroidvania game with the style of 30's cartoon.
I really want to point that this game is made by TWO peoples, Expecte Amour for the musics and Slava Gris for everything else, and it really, really, impressive! I add too that the game is inspired by old cartoons and not cuphead. (wich has similar inspiration)

You play as a unpleasant memory that work to become a phobia and you progress through the mind of Max, a teenager in a unhealthy live.
The story is really interesting. As you play inside Max's mind, what happen to max affect his mind, and what you do in his mind affect Max.

Beware to keyboard users, the game is designed to play with a controller. If you play with the keyboard, you'll feel like the control is a little clunky, but you can get used to it.

The map is huge with enough teleport points (and save) you don't really waste time going back and forth, and if you're really lost there a kind NPC that offer to mark on you map your next progression (with fee). You have abilities and items to help progress/fight.

The only problem I have is it use the same stamina gauge for either dodging or using an ability, the abilities do barely more damage it usually better to keep the stamina for dashing and use consumables/wack with your mallet instead.

To every metroidvania lover, this game's worth a shot, it doesn't bring something to the metroidvania genre, but the uniqueness make the game very attractive!

Clea is a cute horror game were you play as a little girl named Clea and must escape the mansion from some kinds of cultists.
The game is a "hide'n seek" horror game as the poor Clea cannot defend herself, she must avoid being spotted at all cost.

I personally love the art style of the game. I find it very charming.
The game is linear (with some bonus areas to find) and short, but you have many difficulty options and gamemodes to add some replay value. The game can be hard if you want to.
A nice bonus, the game is jumpscare-free, no cheap silly screams nor things jumpings. It's all in the game's ambient.

I recommend this game to those that find the game intriguing or beautiful.

Early Access Review
A very good game wich is a mix between binding of isaac and dark soul. Despite being in early access, the game have already lot of contents and is very promising. I'll be looking to his new content and still play a lot.

-You have different weapons types that allow different moves.

-Lot of relics that upgrade your stats or add a neat additon (like leaving web on your trail or familiar to help you).

-The difficulty curve is well implemented, you can feel at each stage the game becoming harder, especially the bosses.

-Everything is frail, you can kill monsters very quickly, but it's the same for you, making you playing the safest way and be wary against every opponents, just to be able to dodge and strike at the good time, the timing is very important in fights.

If you're a fan of binding of isaac and want a harder version, or you love souls genre where you can afford few mistake and want challenges, then I strongly recommend this game.

Bonus: The devs are very active and respond quickly to suggestions and feedbacks, the game update very often. :3

(Sorry for my bad english)

Rabi-ribi is a metroidvania crossed with a lot of bullet hell bosses.

When I saw the trailer, I fell like I needed to buy this game, and I'm not disappointed.

The points is based on my point of view, don't take me as the only review to consider.

Strongs points:
  • long story (I needed 30 hours for getting the 100% completion without cheating).
  • lot of bosses.
  • good pixelart graphic. (If you don't like pixelart games, you're losing your time here).
  • Lot of music, ranging from catchy to emotional music.
  • A boss rush and speedrun mode, increasing slightly the replayability.
  • The developper is caring a lot in this game for the community. You can feel the love of videogames.
Weaks points:
  • Not a game for everyone, I mean, you must love the pixelart, bullet hell and metroidvania, I don't think everybody will like the game as I did.
  • Secondary characters aren't focused enough.
  • The story can be a bit slow in some moments.

I recommend a lot this game.
