Good story, graphics, gameplay, etc. Fantastic themes.

Unfortunately the game is extremely stretched thin with modern features. It has joined the pantheon of games such as God of War: Ragnarok, AC: Valhalla, and Starfield- where innovations such as locked doors and blocked paths have completely obliterated any pacing, leading to a frustrating gameplay experience.

Still good despite.

The game they want to make is not the game we want to play.

This series just nails it every time, I cannot believe this is free. Can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoy most of this game. I've had a lot of fun so far, but it can quickly grow stale.

While I haven't run into any bases that are unbeatable, I certainly have run into bases that are, quite frankly, not worth my time. With the builder's only reward being defeating the intruder, most bases have turned into a linear, quite narrow hallway with traps around most corners. Peeking every corner and removing the traps one by one trivializes these setups but it is hardly what I would consider engaging gameplay.

There doesn't seem to be a system for picking the type of level you want to play, you just get a random assortment. Mostly this means you are stuck choosing a jumble of levels that players have thrown together with no real effort- and then hands it to you to play.

Why does my base need to be able to produce resources to be playable? Why can't it just be active so people can play it, and I don't gain anything from it? Why are we required to create a base that caters to a small robot when we have a grapple hook (This is a major reason for linear, winding hallway base design). Why are players not required to complete their own bases? And while yes, it's nigh impossible to make a base that is unbeatable, it's definitely possible (and easy) to make a base lacking anything engaging or in most cases, completely bereft of enjoyment.

This could be an excellent avenue for scratching that DOOM itch, making combat challenges and interesting level designs for others to take a crack at- I'm sure this how they imagined at least some of these systems. At the present moment at least, it's growing increasingly stale. I'm confident some slight re-tuning or some added features can make a big difference, I just hope they come sooner rather than later.

There are definitely some things that could touched up on, but overall this game is filled with passion- quality in almost every aspect.

Sure, some games are just for fun, some are just for looks, and others are just small novels.

This game made me happy. (And it was fun, too.)

Honestly excellent. Me and my friend tackle a lot of co-op puzzle games, and this is one of the best.

Some things are a little clunky, maybe slightly un-intuitive at times, but never frustrating.

No bugs or glitches in the entire playthrough.

Passion is evident in every corner of the product, the story and range of locations is intriguing, the puzzles are engaging without being repetitive (one of the later puzzles is some of the most fun I've had in any game full stop), and the gameplay mechanics are simple to pilot while allowing for a wide range of inputs.

Look forward to more games by these devs, absolute gem, 10/10/

I think it's a good game from a small studio.

There are a few problems in the beta that hopefully can be ironed out. The Time to Kill is a bit too short, and the netcode makes it feel even shorter. The menus are somewhat slow and cumbersome- but there is a lot of content to sift through. Vehicles are way overturned, and infantry gameplay suffers with short time to death, or being sent back to the deploy screen from across the map by an enemy tank. Audio is a bit weird. The sounds themselves are excellent (save for double sprint sounding ridiculously fast), but the mixing needs some work. Having an enemy gunshot sound quieter than my footsteps doesn't make much sense.

I hope they can pull through, we need a good battlefield-like title.

I'm a big fan of the battlefield series, even enjoyed BF4 launch and BFV when it first came out. This game is not battlefield, and it will take some work to get it there. Performance is bad across the board, with a number of technical issues. There are some confusing design choices that can't be easily reverted. The specialists should become class specific skins, where their passives become squad deployment streaks and their actives are apart of the class. Some of these decisions were made with the knowledge that this is not what fans want, and they made them anyway.

Hazard Zone is alright, but needs some depth to be worth playing. More Risk/Reward. Portal is excellent, except you don't get progress by playing community modes, and you can just go back and play the games they were based on anyway- with much more content.

Everything to say has already been said, and anything I would say about the game may spoil it- this may be my favorite game of all time. It's incredibly special, and intricately crafted. I have a genuine fear that I will never play something like this again, although the DLC did prove to me that if anyone can match TOW in quality, it's Mobius Digital. After all, they've technically done it twice.
