Alright, so... Gothic 2, eh? First and foremost, don't be fooled by my gameplay hours, because I've modded the hell out of this game and I'm using a custom launcher that doesn't trigger the play count.

I've spent my entire childhood playing this game (and it's founding father) and I can say that I've mastered it at such a degree, that I can simply find nothing else to discover. I know everything, every quest, npc, attack pattern of monsters, hole, cave, easter egg, etc..

The game itself is a must buy for any RPG fan out there. The controls may feel clunky in the beggining, but you'll get used to them. Step 2: it's difficulty is so unfair, you'll think satan crated this game. But that actually offers a much more rewarding gameplay experience.

Step 3: There are 3 factions you can join:
-> Paladins: Holy warriors that deliver judjement with their sword and magic. A hybrid class.
-> Dragon Hunters: Bandits and stole some nice weapons and armor and went bird hunting.
-> Magician of Fire: A pure mage is one of the hardest class to play, until you get the right amount of mana, mana potions and spells. The class is downright OP in the end game.

Step 4: The music is simply blending with the surroundings in such a perfect way, I almost came just thinking about it.

Step 5: You gonna have to patch the game a little, since it came out over 15 years ago. You'll simply need 3 patches to avoid any critical error you might encounter. WorldOfGothic . com is your friend.
Regarding the outdated graphics, there's a DX 11 patch that removes the frame rate cap and makes the game look incredible. Search it on ytube.

Oh, you might ask yourself, where's Step 1?

Step 1 is BUY THE FRIGING GAME!!! It's amazing.
