Early Access Review
Fun game that is only going to get better if they implement everything they are promising. If you are OCD fair warning you will lose a good chunk of your life building things...

*UPDATE*

After a ton of work from a very involved and active dev team, this game has come a loooong way and is easily my favourite game now. It still has your typical alpha issues, but I have less than no doubt they will be addressed before it is 100% complete and out of early access. If you only ever own one early access (Pre-beta) title, than hands down it should be this one. To clarify what I mean by active devs a little more, these devs want to play the same game we want to play and listen to their community as far as feedback goes. They have a blog if you choose to you can follow, and the game has it's own website with forum. The steam forums are also quite active but the devs rarely comment there. What they do not do is spam your activity board with fluff that makes them seem far more active than they are, like so many titles in early access do. If you really have no patience for a less than 100% polished game then I implore you, do wait for the full release. At which point, buy this game!

Important Note:

A word of caution to those looking at youtube and such similar site for gameplay footage. When I began to play this title it looked like a polished version of minecraft (blocky lego land looking). It has evolved a few times visually since, and then massively when they switched to the Unity 5 engine. So check the date on the video you watch so that you are not underwhelmed by an earlier build of this fantastic game.

UPDATE: 11/23/2018

This present alpha build of this game (A17) is fantastic! Enemy AI's reworked, vehicles are in, guns/weapons/armour all have mods to buff stats, and if I carry on this will become literally pages, and pages, long. We had a long wait for this build, a little over a year. TFP doesn't do frequent updates (that require restarting and breaks saves) by community request. This last one was by far the longest wait, largely in part due to issue with migrating to the latest version of Unity that came up.Well, it was worth the wait completely! So much has changed over the years and it just keeps getting better. Best Steam EA experience I've ever had. Sad to say that the forum isn't what it was here though. So check out the game and see where the devs communicate primarily, over on the games own forum on it's home site.

@ YG, Happens all the time, Steams forum rules were written by snowflakes. Temporary thing, enjoy posting bullshit while you can. As always I'll be back in short order to keep the record straight. :steamsalty:
