I generally like the game, but can't recommend it right now. Crashes too much (desktop + hard crashes), black screen flickering, controller not working sometimes etc.

Starfield: A Journey Through the Cosmos Falls Short of the Hype

I was too lazy to write a review. So I just let ChatGPT write it for me. - Daeqolax

Introduction:
Starfield, the highly anticipated space exploration game from Bethesda Game Studios, has finally landed in the gaming universe. With a long history of successful titles, such as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, the expectations for Starfield were astronomical. However, upon embarking on this interstellar adventure, it becomes clear that the game may have fallen short of the monumental hype it generated.

Graphics and World Design (6/10):
Starfield promised to deliver a visually stunning experience, and in many ways, it succeeds. The vastness of space is captured in a breathtaking manner, with cosmic wonders, beautifully rendered planets, and space stations that look stunning. However, there are noticeable bugs and graphical hiccups that can break immersion. The world design, while ambitious, lacks the depth and variety found in Bethesda's other titles, feeling somewhat repetitive as you explore different star systems.

Gameplay and Mechanics (5/10):
One of the most significant drawbacks of Starfield is the lackluster gameplay and mechanics. While the promise of open-world space exploration is intriguing, the game often feels hollow and repetitive. The ship controls are clunky and difficult to master, making interstellar travel more frustrating than fun. The lack of diverse alien species and the limited depth of interactions with NPCs leave much to be desired. Combat, too, feels underwhelming, lacking the depth and excitement seen in other popular space-themed titles.

Story and Quests (7/10):
Bethesda has a history of crafting engaging narratives, and Starfield does offer a story worth following. The main questline introduces intriguing mysteries and lore about the game's universe. However, side quests can feel uninspired, often following a formulaic pattern, and the lack of memorable characters diminishes the emotional impact of the story.

Technical Issues and Performance (4/10):
Upon release, Starfield has been plagued by technical issues and performance problems. Players have reported numerous bugs, crashes, and glitches that hinder the gaming experience. While some of these issues are expected in the early days of a new release, the extent of the problems is concerning.

Modding Community and Potential (8/10):
One saving grace for Starfield is the modding community. Bethesda games have a history of being vastly improved by dedicated modders, and there's a great deal of potential for this game to become more engaging and immersive as the community creates custom content and patches to address the game's issues. If Bethesda actively supports modding, Starfield could evolve into a more satisfying experience.

Conclusion:
Starfield had the weight of enormous expectations, and it struggles to carry that burden. While the game offers a glimpse of the universe Bethesda has crafted, it falls short in many critical areas. The lackluster gameplay, technical issues, and a sense of missed potential make Starfield a disappointment for those who expected it to be the next big thing in space exploration games. However, it's not without hope; if Bethesda actively addresses the game's issues and the modding community steps in, Starfield may yet have a chance to redeem itself and become the epic space adventure it was meant to be.

Early Access Review
Seems promising. Has good build variety and skill customization without being overcomplicated. A bit rough around the edges.

Problems with the game:
- Main plot doesn’t go anywhere and just randomly ends
- Considering how badly game did at launch it might not get sequel that completes the plot
- At launch very heavy to run (although it has been 6 years so hardware is better)
- Single player game featuring microtransactions

Good part:
- Excellent side quests (IMO)
- Gameplay is same as Human Revolution, but more refined
- Very visually good looking game for the release
- Better choice of gameplay compared Human Revolution game now genuine pacifist option (in HR you were forced to kill main bosses)

Summary:
It’s not a bad game. Mechanically it’s even better than Human Revolution. Only real problem is that main plot is meh.

”I never asked for this.”

Doom like retro fps with horde mode. Pretty much sums up the game. Doesn't seem to have much content atm. Main menu is a bit unstable in latest update. Fps combat seems ok. It's free for now. Give it a try, if you like.

Retro FPS aiming to be like 90s fantasy themed FPS shooters like Heretic and Hexen.

Good
* Authentic looks.
* Great performance.
* Good controls. (Mostly)

Neutral
* Game replicates perhaps too realistically poor jumping mechanics and not very accurate (sort of glidy feeling) character movement. Although some people will find at least the latter a positive side.

Bad
* Certain levels have forced platforming areas which don't fit the theme. (IMO)
* Certain enemy types spam attacks endlessly. (Not a huge problem)

Can definitely recommend this one.

Great little puzzle game like its predecessor. It has pretty much the same issues as the last one. Controls are occasionally unresponsive, especially while spinning objects. Puzzles are fun. There hints available if you get stuck. Graphics could better, but it’s mobile port after all. About same length as the last game. I completed it myself in little bit under 4 hours.

I managed to find one bug. While playing you keep clicking things to find out if you can interact with something. So I clicked a container and the camera of the game glitched through the lid. I solved puzzle under lid and clicked away. Once I figured how open the lid, the puzzle I finished earlier bugged out and I was unable finish the chapter. After restarting everything went ok.

Worth the purchase IMO even for full price. Got my copy from sale for 2.5€ (-50%).

All hail king of the losers

HD remake of the classic RTS.

What it adds compared to the original:
- Better graphics (no more those blurry textures)
- Support for modern resulutions
- Online multiplayer (over steam)
- Workshop support for modding
- New DLCs

So it's same old Age of empires II. It's worth your time.

Nice little puzzle game. Not insanely hard to beat. Took me about 3 hours to complete the whole game. In case you get stuck, game will give you hints. Which you don't need to use, if you don't want to.

The game was originally published as mobile game. The pc version was introduced later with some graphical improvements. There aren't any major issues with game. The mouse cursor has tendency of occasionally leaving the screen, while using multi-monitor setup. When trying to spin an object, movement can be more rapid than intended sometimes.

Price of the game in steam is around 5€. In comparison game costs just 1€ in Google Play store (I think Appstore has same price). It's up to you to decide, if you would rather play it on mobile or on pc. Alternatively you could just wait for sale. Personally I think game was worth 5€ I spent on it.
