I honestly think Real Boxing is a pretty good game. The controls (I use an x box controller for it) are quite good, pretty sharp and intuitive, the graphics are decent and I didn't experience any of the stuttering or sluggishness some others reported. The important thing is to not expect the detail and depth of a AAA sports title like Madden or the Show. Boxer customization is perfunctory at best and everyone ends up looking pretty much identical no matter what you do. Game play is a little light, as career mode and random fights (which don't count toward your career) are really all there is to do. Training minigames are nice enough but shallow. If they had managed to make a deep, customizable experience this would be a legitmately excellent game, but as it is it's a nice bit of boxing for pretty cheap. And hey, maybe supporting something like this will create interest in a full fledged boxing game. We can hope, right?
