I haven't had this much fun with a game since Elden Ring.

I'm doing my part.

I just finished the Game, all Achievements, I played since DS 1 so I hope this gives my opinion some weight.

For everyone that just wants a quick answer: 98/100, damn good game if you take the time and can handle the frustration.

EDIT: 97/100.

I have to take another Point away since I focused on the Multiplayer lately (I'm about 300 Invasions deep at this point).
The game crashes about once every 30 Invasions and every fourth Invasion has an connection error. I really do hope this is just a temporary edit.

The critic that came up the most was lacking performance. I had 5 crashes in 137h, most of them trying to invade someone, so everyone that plays offline should be fine in that regard. No problems regarding FPS or similar. I do have a good PC, so it might be a hardware problem for most (I saw one review that started with "my PC is slightly under the minimum requirements ...).

Regarding the Game itself: Everything you can imagine is pretty much perfect with just a few exceptions:

1st: I do love pretty much all the Bosses. What I don't love is putting massive Bosses in tiny Rooms so you can't tell their next move since half of their body is inside the wall. - 1 Point.

2nd: Making some NPC Invasions inaccessible after the Boss of that Area is killed. Why? Some Achievements and items become locked that way since you simply can't get them. Source of some personal frustration. -1 Point.

Other than that:
Visuals: Amazing; found myself pausing a lot just to enjoy the view,
Combat: Amazing; the hitbox is perfect, you can dodge with inches to spare and it looks amazing,
World: It's hard to find empty spots and we will find secrets for the foreseeable future.
Story: Souls like; way deeper than you think and a lot of hidden secrets (Radagon=M)

This game is like a good book; many have forgotten the joy of taking the long and "difficult" journey but if you take your time and accept that is not as "easy" as most modern entertainment you will find a lot of joy hidden behind hardship.

What is good/ what is bad;

Good:
- (EDIT: way over ... ) 50h of gameplay at this point if you enjoy and explore this game.
- well made combat
- rewarding character progression

Bad:
- not enough hints for quest requirements: arrival; notice you need an item, run back, return
- missing character creation: you will have to start the game over and over to get the right abilitys for the starting characters. (EDIT: character creator got added)
- abilitys need reworks: they are not balanced, some are just way to strong if compared. (EDIT: a bit more balanced but there is still a "one right way" to use classes)


This game is great, it's here for 2 weeks and will only get better if the updates keep coming.
It's already fun, so yeah, buy it. (EDIT: it got even better)

Wouldn't spend over 500 h in a game I don't like ^^

I don't remember the last time I smiled out of pure joy in a game like I smiled today.
If you play this game with the right people it is just simply amazing.
10/10 for the first 24h.

Just a better Version of Warband ... that's awesome.

Das Spiel ist echt geil!
ich habs für 10€ geholt und das ist das Spiel doppelt wert!!!

ACHTUNG: wer das Spiel nicht starten kann: in den Steam Ordner gehen und den Metro-Ordner suchen, da die andere Start-Datei benutzen, nicht die die von Steam auch auf den Desktop gesetzt wurde
