Dark Souls, but Neville Chamberlain didn't appease Germany's lust for territories

One of the best grand strategy games, tons of fun and a great way to learn history during the crucial years of 1936-1945 that cost so many lives to humankind. What would have happened if the USSR dismembered itself and the Tsar seized the power back? What if the USA started a second Civil War? The future lays in your hands: decide the path that your nation will take and lead it with your best effort to victory!

And when you got tired, there is always a prolific workshop to choose some mods from... want to go deeper in the hole of the white rabbit? or do you wanna change and go on an adventure in another universe! During this time keep your friends close and your enemies even closer (trust me, you will need it).

Sarebbe un bellissimo gioco...

l'esperienza da me avuta (e gioco fin dalla closed beta) è vacillata fra l'hype estremo iniziale e la delusione parziale del prodotto finale. Il gioco in sè è stupendo; sotto punti di vista di grafica, gameplay e ambientazione soddisfa appieno ciò che mi aspettavo dai creatori dell'Endless Universe. Ciò che lo rende purtroppo una parziale delusione sono la quantità di bug, crash e salvataggi persi irrimediabilmente che ho riscontrato. Dopo 80 ore di gioco ho giocato circa una ventina di partite di cui finite solamente quattro; tutte le altre sono andate perse a cause di salvataggi corrotti oppure di bug che bloccavano il gioco in un caricamento perenne. Inutile dire che con gli update e le patch le cose non sono migliorate... per ogni bug che tentano di correggere altri 2 ne spuntano fuori, ma l'ultima patch fa ben sperare (tanto per fare un esempio: la prima patch note uscita 4 giorni dopo il day one contava circa 120 righe nella sezione "bug risolti"). In fin dei conti se cercate un'esperienza simile a CIV ma meglio bilanciata e più interattiva, ve lo consiglio...però tenetevi pronti a riavviare il gioco almeno una dozzina di volte per ogni partita(per non parlare del multiplayer).
Dulcis in fundo: al posto di chiudersi correttamente il gioco crasha senza alcuna intenzione di chiudersi e bisogna chiuderlo dalla gestione attività...ma come disse un mio amico:"cos'è la chiusura di un gioco se non un piccolo crash controllato?"
