This DLC is helpful as you begin the game. But as soon as you begin actually playing (meaning about 10-30 mins after tutorial) you will gain armor that is more useful than this. If you do not mind that concept, feel free to buy it. But this is not worth it otherwise.

For the most part I overlooked this game for awhile in my search for entertainment. Boy was I wrong to do so. This game (at the time of writing this it is in beta so do remember that) does have its flaws but ultimately gives you a HUGE insight to the Legacy of Kane games. Which in my opinion, where all amazing in their own times. But looking away from those points, we must look at the cons. As I could tell you all the pros to this game, which i believe there are many. But nobody reads reviews to hear the good. They want the bad. So what I dislike in this game is the microtransactions. NOBODY likes those. Although they are really only for cosmetic items, it still would have been nice to at least make it a lot of gold as opposed to $10 for a skin for one character out of 8. You may also pay for your skills with these gems. HOWEVER it is not a pay to win. Because having a move does not simply make you king. The moves are only what the weilder makes of them. With that, you may buy those same skills with in game money. My next issue comes with the matchmaking system. Now again, this is Beta. So I am not judging to harsh because they are releasing a "much better and updated" version when the game actually releases along with 2 classes. Those are truly the only downside past the fact that I do not believe there is in-game voice chat. Text chat is nice but in the heat of battle it is difficult to stop and text your team what is going on and coordinate in a game that actually requires quite a bit of coordination. All in all, I love this game and look forward to playing it. For those of you prospecting this, I would advise you look into the Immortal version. I get that it is A LOT more money. But if you have done your research before buying this game you know if you will like it or not. With that being said, the Immortal version comes with a ton of items including a 100% bonus to gold and exp for 30 days. It cuts a ton of time off and thus why I felt the need to purchase it.

This game is definatly not as bad as it looked at first. When I first got this game in a bundle, all I could think was "Great.....This game looks like another boring game to just try to say I did and get the achievements." Which I can say I have done on VERY few games. But if you can look past the sketchy graphics and somewhat odd voice acting, this is a great game! It is basically a tale of two brothers and their sister in an adventure that plays out like a tower defense game. This is a greenlight and at the time of me writing this review is on sale for $2.99 and I would most definatly advise anybody somewhat interested in tower defense games and deep lore into the supernatural to get this game.

This is (in my opinion) one of the greater games on Steam. For those who are looking for a TASTE of EVE here you go. This game is almost like a baby stepping stone into the EVE universe. While the game does have its flaws as I will state, I believe that this sandbox game has great potental. Now, I will say that I do not believe it is worth $40 just yet. The modding community has yet to take off and you can cheat the game by simply opening your save in Notepad++ and editing the data. Which I believe somewhat cuts the fun out of comparing achievements to other players globally. The missions of hunting the heros are somewhat wonky as well because it seems they jump systems if you watch the map. Just as well, there is a very large difficulty spike in the game that you must prepare for. As you reach a certain level your enemies gain vet rank and you probably have yet to make enough money to even afford a ship that can stand up to them. (Unless you did what I do and stole a ship from the pirates) Now for the positives. This game has BEAUTIFUL scenery. For an indie game, a lot of time was put into this game and its atmosphere. The story and voice acting are a bit stale, but the fact that they are there is awesome. And the story, while being a bit dry, actually does make some form of sense. So kudos! At the start of the game you may pick to be a captain, engineer or another class that excels in firing. You may hire mercenaries to board ships or even follow you in to battle which is what the captains perks stand for. The shooter class perks somwhat speaks for itself. But I played as an engineer as the perks seemed to outweigh the others. The story is the same regardless of your class, but each class has its own specialties with 4 main "moves" But those moves have 5 evolutions within each allowing you to alter them as you go to tailor your playstyle up to the max level of 80. There are a plethora of planets to explore as well as tons of ships to purchase and try out. All in all, if you enjoy sandbox style games and as well as enjoy the beauty of flight or space travel, I recommend this game. I also recommend trying it if your thinking about EVE online. This game is a MUCH simpler thing. But it has many of the same aspects as well as can help you decide if you would even enjoy the simple aspects of what EVE offers before you worry about the more complex matters.

Amazing game. Not the best graphics but VERY cheap for all 3 and well worth it. Especially if you look into the mods.
