Great Throwback to 90's Shooters. Like a Mix between Heretic and Quake 1 without Texture Filtering and stunning lightning and particle effects.

Your disregard for more than half of the PC VR playerbase, the fact you let consumers suffer for your petty legal bullcrap with Oculus and no smooth locomotion option with motion controllers, despite it being an option on PSVR is making the refund decision a pretty easy task.

*UPDATE*

With the smooth locomotion mod it's actually pretty enjoyable, but I could finish the campaign in under 2 hours. This is unacceptable for a 30$ game.

Granted you have 16 classic doom maps to play after you find all the doomguy figures, but these are not really enjoyable as for example Brutal Doom in GZ3Doom (a VRport of GZdoom. Also known as Vivedoom) ,because you have no upgraded weapons and enemies take way too much ammo to be killed.

Add more content, tweak the classic maps gameplay, implement a smooth locomotion option for motion controllers and add more haptic feedback to firing weeapons and not just telefragging.

When you make these changes, I will change my review (not that Bethesda would care)

A great throwback to 90's fps classics like Quake with a rougelike twist.

One of my favorite gaming experiences I had this year.

The gunplay is great, the soundtrack and overall style is gorgeous and there is a great variety in weaponry and playstyle experimentation. But that's not all; there is even VR support coming. I can't wait to try the game with my Oculus and Touch setup.

But be warned:
You won't enjoy it if you can't manage to be frustrated with unfair enemy, ammunition and weapon placement or the fact that you have only one life to complete the game. (unless you repair teleporters)

For this price any old school FPS fan should give this a go!!!

not scary, terrible animations, no interaction and only one small jumpscare.

It's like playing a very early Alpha of a game you were promised. You keep looking for the stuff you were sold on but you can't find ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This would not be a huge issue if this would be a 20-30 Early Access title, but it's a full price title which does not mention any of the missing features you paid for and claims to be finished and advertised with trailers that does not show the real game. It's just a very barebone survival game with limited space exploration and a dumbed down procedural generated world.(you will find the same carbon shell things, the same plutonium crystals, the same Zink/Platinum plants, the same buildings on every planet and one of just 3 Alien races) There are no factions you can join, no job system, you can't interact with other players directly and you have no real goal other than reaching the center of the galaxy. I was hugely disappointed after I "finished it".





*Spoiler Alert*: It's just a loop. You can not reach the center of the universe! To be even more specific: You can reach the center of the galaxy 255 times and right after that the procedual generation system just breaks down

This game is dead on arrival. I played about 3 hours and spent 90% of the time wating for players in a lobby. It's a shame because the mechanic is allright for a few quick rounds. Also the netcode is atrocious! I only had playble matches against people from my own country. All others were teleporting messes with lucky shots in the dark..just a terrible investment...

Just Wow! One of the most immersive and fun Mods I have ever played! A damn good job and more fun than many games that actually cost money! So yeah it's a no brainer download and have fun.

Nice physicspuzzles, Nice gameplay flow and almost no bugs (only had one with the train where it didn't move further).

Keep up the good work! Can't wait for Act 2!

This is without a doubt the worst game I have ever bought on Steam ever and it managed to make me feel like an idiot, mainly because of the fact I preordered it with the Season Pass( thanks to a keyshop only for 70€). I made the mistake to assume that there would be any kind of evolution from Infinity Ward's previous installment in terms of graphics and gameplay. Black Ops 2 was fun in my oppinion. Normally you would exspect that they take the advancements of Treyarchs work on the IWengine and build upon it like any good studio would do, but I belive they seriously lost all good men and women there which flew to Respawn Entertainment because visually and gameplay wise this game is alot worse than any of it's predecessors. Why is that so you may ask? Mainly it's because it's laggy unless you turn the graphics down to niveu worse than Modern Warfare 1. I have a GTX 680 (which is not a bad card) and I can play Battlefield 3 and 4 with solid 60fps second in multiplayer on ultra so wtf? So the perfomance is ♥♥♥♥ but if you turn everything up graphicswise the textures still are freaking horrendous in camparison to BO2. Multiplayer is also a lot worse and the maps are boring as ♥♥♥♥! they took everything that was cool about the previous installments and downgraded every portion of it! I waited since release for this rant because i had the hope they would fix alot of the issues with patches but they did not they just added some pathetic effects that kill the performance even more and do not add much. So my final words are ♥♥♥♥ this game, ♥♥♥♥ Activision and ♥♥♥♥ you Infinity Ward, This is the last time I preorded a game by you pricks! Go to Hell! If there was anyway I could get my money back I would try it!
