For being the first text based RPG I've ever played it is hands down the best one I could have ever picked up as a history nerd. It perfectly encapsulates the ups and downs of campaign life (even when things can get a little repetitive). Although a hard game, I think it entirely adds to the experience. As you get further and further each life you gain points to then put forward to your next life, it's a pretty fun system.
